Guest Low Roller
One of the more memorable team bonding moments came late in Saturday morning's practice, when the players and coaches all lined up at one end of the rink.“It’s a game we play often. If a player misses the opposing net with his shot, he’ll have to skate five laps," explained Therrien. “If he hits the crossbar, though, the coaches have to skate.â€To the delight of his teammates, Andre Markov managed to slap the puck 180 feet down the ice and hit the crossbar. The crisp ping of rubber meeting iron sent the Habs into a frenzy, and the Russian defenseman was mobbed by 24 overjoyed teammates.“It was the first time in twelve years [that someone managed to hit the crossbar],†confessed Therrien, who looked visibly tired after having to skate end-to-end alongside assistants Gerard Gallant, J.J. Daignault and Clement Jodoin. “I think the players were a bit too happy to see us bag skate."
Booche
Man, this sports forum is dead. Time to spruce things up. From 2010Jacques Martin has killed Bournival's development. O'Byrne played another solid game for the Avs last night playing 20 minutes, +3 rating, had a fight, and an assist against the Blues. He's truly found his game in Colorado. One of these players is currently a solid Habs lineup choice and the other isnt even in the NHL. Guest Low Roller
So DD is back centering the third line, Galchenyuk is back on Eller's wing, St-Pierre is sent back down to Hamilton (along with Leblanc) after playing a ton of minutes yesterday, including PP time. After rocking the boat for a game, looks like Therrien went back to the normal line-up for tomorrow's game against the Sens.
c-towns
Does going back to the normal line-up include PK on the bench for the last 4 minutes of games?
Booche
So you and the rest of the hockey watching world didnt see PK get drilled by a puck and crushed along the boards by 2 Blues players yet you are all rushing to judgement, eh? Any coach trying to win a game is putting PK on the ice during 4 on 4 OT. Room to skate is his bread and butter. Clearly something was off physically even if the announcers/media didnt tell you so.The sheep are being Media troll'd. Dont worry though, I was too last year prior to PK signing the contract. I stupidly believed their bullshit for some reason. Edited November 7, 2013 by Guest
Guest Low Roller
Reality: Subban is the second most used D in the last five minutes of games. Proof.

Guest Low Roller
I'll tell you what the problem is with this team: there are no French Canadians playing on the top line.Is it time to push le boutton de panique?

Guest Low Roller
With Emelin back in the lineup hopefully they can trade Markov to get that French Canadian power forward.
