Basically the way I read this I think if you register for the golf tourney on Thursday of this week you get two tickets to next years fest. For $50!! If anyone is interested, I would like to take advantage of this and actually play in the tourney if I have to. Register NOW for the 4th annual Ottawa Bluesfest Golf Tournament and receive two FREE tickets for the 2008 Bluesfest! Join the folks who brought you Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and many more . . . on Thursday, August 23 at the Metcalfe Golf Club for a 1 p.m. shotgun start. For $125 players receive lunch, a round of golf with cart, roast beef dinner, live music during the awards dinner and great prizes. There are still a few spots open, so go to the Bluesfest website to register or give them a call NOW at 247-1188 ext. 232. (For preceding and complete details: www.ottawabluesfest.ca) OR This just out: For $50 you can register to play in the tournament only; this price includes 18 holes with a golf cart and a chance to participate in all the contests (such as the putting contest at the beginning of the day and the long-ball and closest-to-the-flag contests etc. . .) plus lunch.
