  2. here's to hoping that st.paul and the broken bones is in it.
  3. Is family the Jackson family? I read that the other day and just thought it was national enquirer style news, yet it's a real claim being investigated. Since they weren't allowed to visit, how would they know anything other than pulling that out of thin air? http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-32881351 http://time.com/3899272/b-b-king-lawyer-family-poison-claim-money/
  4. That's an option, but then what forum do you think JohnnyLom and other spam douches will hit if it's removed?
  5. thx for the offer RobL. holding back from the money spending. check this out. official recording of U Got The Look from Toronto. https://soundcloud.com/prince3eg/prince-3rdeyegirl-the-look-live-in-toronto-05-19-15
  6. Oh man. That is a great teaser. Well done!
  7. An hour after the sale, I was easily pulling up tix for nearly any section. Cheapest was $100. The only ticket I wanted was in the PIT. Super close to prince and only $100 more than the far away seats. I don't want to spend the cash, so didn't jump in. BTW, tix are still coming up. I thought this would be sold out heures ago
  8. Well, I got caught up and deleted a bunch of spammy accounts thanks to that new round.
  9. There's a Spotify Premium deal right now at $0.99 for first 3 mths. New sign-ups only. It seems to replace the free trial month. https://www.spotify.com/ca-en/premium/
  10. Since I couldn't go, I was trying to get tickets anyway to see what was coming up. A set of row U popped up, and I messaged a friend in TO who wanted to go and I couldn't get her info fast enough. I read they were non-transferable, so I couldn't order with my CC. Couldn't do it fast enough. Then Pits were appearing, totalling around $600 for 2. She didn't want to pay that much, but while that's a hard bill to swallow, the pit right in front of Prince will be an incredible place to be tonight. Unfortunately, she couldn't reasonably priced tickets either.
  11. Here's the Time - that funky Prince project
  12. Prince announced a pop-up show at the Sony Centre for Performing Arts. Capacity is about 3000, so getting tickets should be a challenge. There's no word on the price for Prince tix. Tickets avail monday at 12 pm http://www.livenation.com
  13. Prince is playing Toronto at a sort of pop-up show at the Sony Centre for Performing Arts. Since it'll be a more intimate show (less people), it would be a pretty rare experience. Smaller Prince shows are rare and are always incredible. Some even lead into a Prince aftershow at a local bar or club. Tickets are on sale May 18 at 12 pm via http://www.livenation.com. There is no mention of price yet, and they will probably be very hard to get since there are probably only around 3000 'seats'. Seats that cannot be sat it, because you must dance at a Prince show.
  14. http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/was-guns-n-roses-sweet-child-o-mine-inspired-by-early-80s-song-from-australian-band/ In these cases, I always wonder what sort of action would come out if the creation order of the two songs were flipped. Like if this Australian band came out with their tune after Sweet Child, it would then seem obvious that they ripped of G'n'R, and not merely a coincidence. The chords, groove and pacing are eerily similar but when the guitar solo stuff happens near the end, some extremely familiar sounds appear even stronger. https://youtu.be/oxqreCG0htQ?t=3m55s
