1. Paul McCartney holds an "askpaul" thing on Twitter. Ryan asks a question.
2. this is an awkward yet funny interview.
3. Images need to be remotely hosted and added with the image button in the toolbar. Try http://imgur.com for free image hosting. copy > paste the URL into the url field after clicking the image button and it'll show up.
4. If I could, I'd use google Tunes that build….those that start out ballady and then build to apeshit madness fit. Since you mentioned G'n'R, November rain seems like it could take up a slot. How have you not suggested a Radiohead tune yet? Paranoid Android seems too easy to include.
5. Any suggestions for a playlist of powerful songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, but not that song? So far… Life on Mars - bowie Don't Stop me now - queen November Rain - G'n'R …
6. It's a music festival, and that happens. It's rare that an artist is so vocal about it though. Most just do their gig and move on, all professional-like. Not sure how War On Drugs are responsible for the hissy fit and certainly don't deserve the directed the anger at them.
7. No need to Canadify this... The Barr Brothers – Sleeping Operator Loving the album
8. This Jim Jefferies bit… http://youtu.be/nMfRYF1cXgA
9. that should be a new thread. there's plenty to add, question and discover. ? = Loverboy
10. That's a more balanced thought than my cynical take. I guess I don't see the need to canadify anything since taste knows no borders
11. I recently discovered a ton of live phish in there. Btw, that canadify thing sounds horrible. There are definitely Me Too acts out there but I don't think you can equate radiohead to arcade fire. Platinum Blonde and Duran Duran...sure that's a little more accurate.

who wants to try this???
13. the album release party. best place to get a vinyl signed for vinyl nerds. That would be a great show to hit up. They're also playing in February at Museum of History if you can wait to see them. I don't know if I can. That video starts out tasting like the slip a bit. Marc should just fuckin' join the band if Andrés can play keys like that.

15. I don't see anything wrong with the link. I click on youtube's embed section and pull the link from there and it appears when using: '> But when I copied the link from your post, it wouldn't work. I'm suspecting some weird character code in the text for some reason.

A = 432 Hz

http://www.collective-evolution.com/2013/12/21/heres-why-you-should-convert-your-music-to-432hz/ According to Prince, who posted about this article in some FB post, 432 Hz should be what A is tuned to for every instrument out there. I never thought about that before, "Why is A 440 Hz?". Turns out, no reason. Also, classical pitch is standardized to 432 Hz. Phish should give it a go and see what happens at a show.
18. I fully expected that to have come from the Onion. All that damn cake I guess? in other news Food rations to DPRK residents at a low
19. LAMED. I thought it was supposed to be a live performance. It was more of an E! behind the scenes style production with an annoying host and pre-recorded clips. I couldn't watch it long enough to see if there was any live prince guitar ripping action.
