40 bucks to go out east and back?
I didn't think it would be THAT cheap.
Holy crap!
-
I suppose set I and II could be separated, but maybe doug may be able to open up an extra gig for the whole thing.
Were you planning on just mailing, or would we do a marathon download?
-
You're the first person ever to mention that show. It pops in my head every once in a while. Our grade 7 teacher used to play the show for us every week. Dunneedon's laugh was hysterical. Everything I know about the war of 1812, I learned from that show.
I'd love to watch that episode you have.

That show should be worth putting up on ftp to download here for a little while. How large is the show?

Go here and phone and ask about a charter.

Hell, what could it cost to fill a bus of east coast bound individuals? You'd need to get a hotel together too, but that's not hard. I'm sure it could be done for a reasonable price.

I guess you've never spent 5 years at Toys R Us with Badams. That sort of desensitizes you to the subject.

Good capturing dude.

Holy FLASHBACK!
SecondTube! You just reminded me of the time Kim Mitchell played at the Superpub at St. Lawerence College in Kingston circa 95.
hahahaha! What a joke that was. We just sat in the rafters getting loaded and laughing.

I forgot to mention to interesting candidates.
Worst but first - Gowan at the Kingston Memorial Center in the summer before Grade 9.
(Who's a strange animal?)
Best you ask? BEATLEMANIA at the grand theatre (I actually recorded it on a shitty little recorder) and 1964 (actually THE best beatles cover band ever) at Stages.

What is a persistent muscle spasm? Do
I have those? Do hiccups count?
Hiccup:
A spasm of the diaphragm resulting in a rapid, involuntary inhalation that is stopped by the sudden closure of the glottis and accompanied by a sharp, distinctive sound.
Diaphragm:
Anatomy. A muscular membranous partition separating the abdominal and thoracic cavities and functioning in respiration. Also called midriff.
I found the loophole!!! Someone find the doctor.

holy-motherfuck-wazzat-wowzee-amazingly-shit-jumpingfuck!
They be doing brokedown palace?? That has got to send some chills up and down the spine. Their harmonies are SOOOOO perfect that I can only imagine how beautiful that must have sounded live. The 'box of rain' harmonies are on par with that, I'm sure, which to me really showed how pretty They can sound.
Thanks for posting that. I am incredibly more excited about friday's Burlington now. It feels more real (that I'm actually going to see Phil again).
- I moved this topic to a new forum that would probably serve as a good spot for reviews.

PRINCE. 1988 Lovesexy Tour!
Got to Maple Leaf Gardens, and they screwed up our tickets and had stupid clapton tickets for us for the next night instead. My friends girlfriend threw a fit and ended up with GOLD seats for us. We were sitting with the likes of Catherine Ohara, Erica Ehm, and other canadian superstars.
Shiela E. was a hot drummer. Prince played some incredible radio transmitted guitar while doing the splits and shit. I think he drove out in a car for Alphabet St.
whoooo eeee! what a night.
Here's a link about the tour.
And here's a link to the guy who makes Prince's guitars...

You won't get in crap for not liking LWATW. I don't think that they are for everybody. If you enjoy that really rich ol' country sound which can be found in flying burrito brothers' "Sin City" for instance, you'd enjoy the collision of LWATW. I could be biased because I'm a sucker for pedal steel guitar, however.

I did 30 votes. I made it go up by 30.
I was thinking about making a javascript to do the dirty work, but the fact of the matter is that sounded like work.
I'm spending my last few minutes here clicking on the poll.
It'd be funny if we all did it at the same time for a bit, and watch the number soar.

Don't forget the ever popular Bits and Bytes with Billy Van and Luba Goy and those wonderful
animations that showed the innerds of the microcomputer. I remember making my first BASIC program thanks to that show.
