  2. [color:purple] What? Give them some food? For free? Perish the thought man! That's fuckin' socialism/marxism/leninism/fascism/communism/idon'tknowwhatthefuckism/etc. Hands Off Our Homeless ... let 'em suffer. It's what or forefathers built into the Constitution and we'll die for their rights to not receive any help. It's the American Way. God Bless America. Now where's that buffet? I gotta drive across the street to get to it.
  3. i wanna ride the wave let's surf.
  4. Agreed! That was a huge deciding factor in all the incarnations up until now. Sufficient time has passed, and there's a craving for a hint of Jerry's tone while the music is playing on stage. I simply love the fact that there are always new elements being brought to the music that will survive much furthur than any of the surviving members.
  5. I was wondering how this was. I saw her on Colbert the other night. I thought the song she played on there was dreadful and dull (so repetitive and she shouldn't be playing guitar). Totally different styles, but her half-sister Anoushka has unfuckingbelievable talent on the sitar. Check this album out:
  6. nah, i feel bad that schwa is feeling *sick* but he knows how to cure that ailment. I'm feeling super great too. I think it's time to hit the LCBO and toss some beers in the fridge here at work and wait for the work day to end Drink scotch whisky all night long and die behind the wheel (public transit tonight )

Gimme that Christian side hug!! Learn it! We all know regular hugs are the work of the DEVIL! And for those who prefer god's message delivered via Christian-Punk here's a little tune explaining how masturbation is simulated sex and a S I N. Don't masturbate, do a guitar solo instead
  9. Alexandre The Great quoted when he was drafted in 1993, “I am glad I got drafted first, because no one remembers number two!†"I don't know why Alfie still wants to stay there. Sweden is fucking awesome." The number two pick in the 1993 draft…..Chris Pronger.
  10. Yeeeehawwwww!!! I actually had an extra for tonight, but it was taken on my first call to a buddy in seconds. Gonna be a sweet show tonight. I can taste the preshow beers now ... gonna be partying with two drummers and a librarian at the show tonight
  11. "http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/11/neil-young-sings-fresh-prince-theme-song-video.html" Proof Neil Young can make any song haunting and mournful ... or, at least, a faux-Young ... Jimmy Fallon on NBC's "Late Night" ...
  12. Priceline usually gets you in at the Hyatt or Adams Mark for $45 or $50. Both walking distance too (although Buffalo winter nights can be a bitch and the comfort suite is the closest)
  13. wtf? they need to get some more of those 61 on the net IN the friggin' net! That's some crazy shit.
  14. Lots of people want to talk about Palin. Just listen to these humans with brains:
  15. looks like they got pissed off at her for leaving too
  16. I wish. Really though, Aja is one of my all time favourite albums. Definitely a "desert island" disc for me. Maybe if there seems to be some cheap-o $20 tickets i may try to go to experience The Royal Scam on thursday
  17. Pedro M. Cruz, a graduate student in information visualization and interaction design, created this time-elapsed representation of the rise and decline of the British, French, Portuguese, and Spanish overseas empires from 1800 to 2000. He writes: The data refers to the evolution of the top 4 maritime empires of the XIX and XX centuries by extent. I chose the maritime empires because of their more abrupt and obtuse evolution as the visual emphasis is on their decline. The first idea to represent a territory independence was a mitosis like split — it’s harder to implement than it looks. Each shape tends to retain an area that’s directly proportional to the extent of the occupied territory on a specific year. The datasource is mostly our beloved wikipedia. The split of a territory is often the result of an extent process and it had to be visualized on a specific year. So I chose to pick the dates where it was perceived a de facto independence (e.g. the most of independence declarations prior to the new state’s recognition). Dominions of an empire, were considered part of that empire and thus not independent. Visualizing empires decline from Pedro M Cruz on Vimeo.
