So, who else is super excited about this show??? I know that I am. Only 100 of us in attendance (25 tables for 4 people). WOOOHOOO! Let's just hope that it's not a chatty crowd once the show starts. I have no idea when we're getting there (taking wife, mom and a buddy) but hopefully in time for a couple of drinks. not only that, but do they still have the dude working in that dingy bathroom downstairs??? THAT has to be the biggest joke. Yeah, like i really need some guy to hand me a towel, some "cologne", etc. and then fork over cash. It's a piss hole fer cryin' out loud. BTW ... it must be the same asshole security guys who work there as at The Phoenix and Kool Haus. All notoriously un-KIND. Glad to hear that the music all made up for it.

i hear ya. It ain't perfect and no need to get hurt or hassled when you can just come clean i suppose. If you're in the US, be sure to let them know you're Canadian. They don't like having to do all the extra paperwork (this happened to us at the SCI show at the Sideshow Music Hall in Tonawanda )

It's all about cops using their authority to ask questions that people comply with. Once you do that, you end up giving up some of your rights from what I understand. If cops come to your door they will ask "can we come in to ask a few questions." If you allow them, then they no longer need to seek out a search warrant to do so. When pulled over, you technically don't have to say a word. Hand them lisence, registration and insurance through the window. Ask what you are being pulled over for. Keep your hands in plain view. They have to have probable cause to get in your car (or if you allow them). There is a really good video out there on this. I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks for sufferring through that opening set. What an awful choice. Why were they in? They had a couple of lyrics where whisky is mentioned ... pfft. Good times at the show once the DBT started for sure. Amazing having so much room to move around and still have a room that had energy and was into the show considering it was a corp deal. I don't know if it was the energy-draining opener, but I found this DBT show didn't really start to burn on all cylinders until about halfway through. It seemed untypically mellow up to that point. When they kick it in to full on rock show mode there's nothin' like it. Great seeing a bunch of people from these parts there. What other show that comes through here has a band mascot in the crowd (NewRider, they need to hire you ). Congrats on winning the guitar Boiler Rat! Nice to see a killer prize like that going to somebody who really appreciates it. Awesome
