My buddy went to school with the Seapods guys in Plattsburgh. Is this a reunion for them? He said that they got together a few years ago for a one-off at Mtn Jam or something.

I did this for a month when I was locked-out of work at the CBC. My buddy's company (Profile Drilling) does core samples. Good workout working one of those drilling rigs We were pulling up samples from industrial/commercial sites (needed for transferring ownership). Amazing how much shit/pollution is down there.

Thanks for the info edger. I think that I would follow your reasoning as well. I never thought about the campfire thing either (which is where I have had some of the best times at Gratefulfest too) and that you just can't have those at a lot of fests. I also like the idea of being kid-free at a big fest let's hope they are on different weekends next year is right!
