  7. Nope, it's from last summer for sure. Cassidy was littler the year before at Gratefulfest; Kids can't wait to get back to Ohio
  8. seriously, that was a flashback seeing that name. I remember catching them a couple of times at the Horseshoe. Fun stuff.

  10. I wish i could say that i could go down to CBC library here and borrow it, but the production stuff like this is held elsewhere (where I can't get my hands on it, sadly). Let me see what I can do, and maybe I could find a contact on the show that would be willing to let me have a listen (and burn ).
  11. change Optimus Prime into this and I'll have a crush fer sure

  15. I got into those guys back when they were starting. In 89 they opened for a friend of mine that I was going to school with at Ryerson ( Arlene Bishop) Bob Snider was the other opener This was at the old Cabana Room in the Spadina Hotel. I thought that BNL were there to watch the show. They comprised the rest of the audience, other than me and 3 other people in my party. They were a ton of fun. Ended up catching them every couple of weeks at the X-Ray, Horseshoe, Lee's, York U, Beer Tent at the Ex, and many other venues. They finally started using ticketmaster (1991 Bathurst St Theatre) and they were going maintstream. Great performers. I remember seeing them again when they were on HORDE and was pleasantly surprised at how good they still were live. Ed Roberts writes CHEESE that's for sure (the last song i heard of his at least). I miss "I'm In Love With A McDonald's Girl".
  16. Listening to a bit of sports radio yesterday had me laughing. All these fans bitching and moaning about the price of tix for the Leafs. The common sentiment was that they all seem to feel they have some sort of entitlement to tix (and at a low price) just because they are fans. Gimme a break. It's a business, and the tickets still get scooped up at the higher prices. They're milking the corporate buyers for everything they've got. That's NOT going to change anytime soon. Seriously, if they offered cheap tix, the corps would still buy them, and individuals would flip them for their true market value (a price which "blue collar" fans can't afford). It's a reality, so deal with it. I refuse to pay money to see the Leafs. Mind you, when miracle tix come my way, I ain't going to refuse them. I'm excited by the fact that I am fortunate to have had somebody think of me, and I'm going to be able to take my son to the game tonight against the Rangers. Hoping for a good one
  17. Really? I just checked and can get at 'em: http://neilyoungcad.tickets.musictoday.com/NeilYoungCAD/calendar.aspx
