OK, So now some people have secured their tix for the Buffalo gig on 4/20(+1) Do you have a place to stay??? The Dead are offering pretty decent travel packages that include a room at the Adam's Mark hotel (walking distance to the show). Well, you can get a room cheap right NOW at the Adam's Mark via Priceline.com. I entered an initial bid of $69 and got it first try. You can prob get in for $55-$59 though. Get 'em quick, because when they realize that this is a "special" Tuesday, they'll start selling those rooms at full cost like the Hyatt ($179 a night!)

Yup, that works out about right. For me it was: 2 tix in Sec 106 = @224 1 Night @ Adam's Mark via Priceline = $69 ---------------------------------------- Total = $293 with no tshirts or posters (ok by me)

Neil Young at Massey Hall was magical and cost much more. April will get here and the cost will (hopefully) be forgotten. I know it worked that way for me at Neil Young.

Shit, you'd think they might ask a few other sources how smooth MusicToday's service works (see Gov't Mule for sure) when a ton of die-hard fans are trying to get their order in and spend their hard-earned money. Good luck to everyone trying to purchase tix tomorrow. The travel packages do seem to be the best deal, you're right.

No kidding! And at that one the floor was GA so we could move right up if need be Hell, there were lots of tix at THAT show and they were going for $20-$25 (half the face value!) Fuck it ... i'm getting in CHEAP with the handouts of ducats that will be going on in Buffalo in April. With the VIP tickets added to the equation now there's no way i'm coughing up for tix ahead of time through the retail outlets available. So, ya really think that Barfalo will sell out on a TUESDAY in April at $100 a ticket? I'm starting to wonder. I'm thinking that if there's a run on tix when they go on sale, there will be a SHITLOAD avail at cheaper prices on eBay, etc. shortly after. Damn. Just found out I've got a wedding to go to on that day. HOWEVER, it's at 10am and the reception is in the early afternoon Still doable. Might just have to show up to it in a suit and tie HA! My 4.5 year old daughter loves these guys. Her favourite is "This Is Not A Love Song". So cute when she sings it.
