  1. A lot of the cuts in Oshawa were related more to the housing slump in the US I heard. Since Oshawa pumps out shitloads of pickups and trucks, a big market is to builders and contractors in the US. Since construction rates have slowed, less work for the people buying trucks, fewer sales. It's too bad. My buddy was looking at the prices of Toyotas and there was a wayyyy bigger difference than $221. He said it was more like $6000. Sorry, but if I had the choice to save that kind of money on a car I'm buying Stateside!
  2. Sorry, not in my powers Aren't you happy with the fact that Martha Stewart is on CBC every weekday now? Come on ... complain, complain, complain ... that's all ya do! Now, how the hell do I stay awake here today after that Rush show last night?
  3. Pretty good response to your question. It's nice that they don't ignore these things. So, who was it? You can PM me if you want and I can arrange for you to be able to call him if you like
  4. Hey, Leafs win!*^ * - preseason game ^ - it was against Phoenix
  5. I'm in. Scored a pair of 24th row floors off eBay for only $89 Would've come to $280 through TicketBastard .
  6. I find it odd that they would ask for your GPA info. Here's a tool to help you out maybe? http://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/~counselling/GPA_calculator/index.cgi You could always ask them if they meant: government procurement agreement general power of attorney GPA hardhats http://www.gpa-sport.com/us-gpa.htm
  7. Anyone going down to the show tonight? If I can make it out i'm going to hit this show. I had such a good time at the R30 Tour show, I'd just hate to miss them this time around.
  8. That don't work Booche ... the Rael Genesis is more along these lines:
  9. A good mix of what Van Halen 2007 is looking/sounding like. This is from their final rehearsal:
  10. Another good idea would be to get your financing lined-up. Go to a Mortgage Broker and get pre-approved at a good rate. That will stay locked-in for some time, and you'll probably be able to extend it. Then you're good to go when something comes up and have a lower interest rate just in case they start to rise.
  11. No shit ... i'm looking at renting a place in Flordia and getting some air fares (outta Buffalo) and the dollar is making it cheaper by the day!!! It wasn't that long ago that you had to figure a 50% on everything you bought in the US based on exchange rate.
  12. Bwahahaha! After the ratings for the Cup Final last year, I doubt they want to show their games much at all (unless they are playing Montreal, Toronto or Pittsburgh) I WILL be scheduling all the commercials you see during the games on CBOT though I'm still waiting for them to invite me there for a visit and take me to a game in thanks for all my great work, but they're cheap bastards!
  13. LOL ... yes, I do. This is nothing that I can control (or am involved with) sadly This wouldn't be a CBC-controlled decision I don't think. The debate is being aired on many stations/streams and is probably controlled more by Elections Ontario. Maybe they have an answer (or somebody you could ask the question) on their site: http://www.elections.on.ca/en-CA/
  14. there IS something weird today ... there were people on my commute who used the passing lane for PASSING (as opposed to cruising at slower speeds than everyone else). Weird.
  15. Volcano Tungurahua erupted spectacularly last year. Pictured above, molten rock so hot it glows visibly pours down the sides of the 5,000-meter high Tungurahua, while a cloud of dark ash is seen being ejected toward the left. Wispy white clouds flow around the lava-lit peak, while a star-lit sky shines in the distance. The above image was captured last year as ash fell around the adventurous photographer. Located in Ecuador, Tungurahua has become active roughly every 90 years since for the last 1,300 years. Volcano Tungurahua has started erupting again this year and continues erupting at a lower level even today.
  16. yup ... if you print out the floor plan and balcony plan from the Massey site, you can overlay them and see how much of the floor the first balcony covers (it's quite a lot). http://www.masseyhall.com/pdfs/mh_mainfloor.pdf http://www.masseyhall.com/pdfs/mh_balcony.pdf
  17. 18 in a row?! Whoa. At 40mins an episode, that's around 12 HOURS. Your eyes must've been hurtin' I have enjoyed 24, but last season kinda fell apart, IMHO. Hopefully it can save itself this year while Jack is a renegade/vigilante/crazymutherfucker with a vengeance. The following takes place ...
  18. Soembody melt Jerry's face into the Lion's ... since Jerry IS god (not Trey )
