  1. Mind blowing Zeppelin from '69. WOW! http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/ConcertDetail.aspx?id=764|4017 Led Zeppelin Fillmore West San Francisco, CA 04/27/1969 Set 1 Tracks: 6 Total Time: 1:08:17 Train Kept A Rollin' 3:16 I Can't Quit You Baby 8:06 As Long As I Have You 18:21 <---WHOA BABY! You Shook Me 10:05 How Many More Times 22:20 Communication Breakdown 6:09 Robert Plant - vocals Jimmy Page - guitar John Paul Jones - bass John Bonham - drums After an initial blitz on America in the early months of 1969, when Led Zeppelin primarily opened for other acts, they return in April for their second assault. In Led Zeppelin history, no run of shows is more legendary that these four nights in San Francisco. This is the first set of the last night of that run. After the brief comment "This is the last night" from Robert Plant, they kick off the show with the Yardbirds’ classic, "The Train Kept A-Rollin." During the following "I Can't Quit You," Plant incorporates improvised lyrics that state what a great time they were having in San Francisco. They then embark on a vicious excursion through an 18 minute "As Long as I Have You." This unreleased song was never played with more enthusiasm, and it features nods to various blues obscurities, as well as Spirit's "Fresh Garbage," while Page pummels the audience into submission. The mood relaxes a bit with "You Shook Me" before they journey to the outer realms again for a take on "How Many More Times" that leaves the audience delirious after 22 minutes. An unusually bluesy arrangement of "Communication Breakdown" closes the first set.
  2. D'oh! Do I really have to cheer for Ottawa tonight?? Really?? I'm going to need a lot of medication
  3. That's why, technically, the transition between 3 to 4 is off, and so is 9 to 10. 3. Michael Jackson - Rock With You 4. Phish - Dave's Energy Guide You --> Dave's there should have been at least one word between "you" and Z before the rollover. Same here: 9. The Grateful Dead - Reuben And Cérise 10. Bob Dylan - All Along The Watchtower Cerise --> All The rest all works perfectly. Nitpicking and it was hard to describe at the beginning I'll refrain from themes for a while now .
  4. KILLER Blues Power that clocks in at 12:13 http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/ConcertDetail.aspx?id=20050419|2211 Eric Clapton Dallas Convention Center Dallas, TX 11/15/1976 Tracks: 6 Total Time: 39:13
  5. MarcO ... sorry for the penalty. I was just trying help a little since it seems to have stumped the brilliant minds here Come on people. It is not that hard.
  6. Come on skanks! I thought you wanted a challenge. I'll help out once more ... somebody finish it off. 7. Booche, you know that I'm with you and the Habs ... it's only when the Leafs are playing the Habs that i have to deal with my unique position of my dual-fanship passport.
  8. Link 1 Link 2 Phish's 'Chairman of the Boards' | Live on NPR this Friday at Noon ET Yet again, NPR's live concert series gets into "jammy" territory. This Friday, March 30th, they've got former Phish keyboard wizard, Page McConnell, streaming live from the World Cafe on Philly's WXPN at noon ET. This will be a nice treat to fans who couldn't grab tickets to his upcoming (sold-out) show at the Gramercy Theatre, in NYC on April 4th. The "Chairman" is set to release his solo debut on April 17th. It'll be interesting to see how this album compares to his previous side-project with bassist Oteil Burbridge and drummer Russel Batiste: Vida Blue. I remember Page's instrumental work with Vida Blue being pretty darn cool, but overall his songwriting tended to lack some sort of depth (perhaps a bit stinted after years of being overshadowed by the behemoth songwriting team of Trey Anastasio and Tom Marshall). We'll see. If you're curious about Page's first solo project, here's a video EPK, including an interview and some audio from the upcoming release:
  9. Right on! The more Habs fans in Kanata tomorrow the better Even though an Ottawa win would help the Leafs, I'll still cheer for the Habs tomorrow night .
  10. WOW! Great additions ... especially those first 3!
  11. Damn ... I despised O'Reilly back during those killer Habs v. Bruins playoff series. As much as he was easy to hate, he was effective ... but only to a degree since the Habs usually ended up winning all those sereies. Ahhhhh ... good times ... good memories
  12. Could you imagine if you had turned down a chance to see The Last Waltz?!?!
  13. That's gotta suck. Go hit a bar where they pick it up off satellite or somethin'. You can always listen to the game over the net: http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&page=Radio

  16. How is this in any way alphabetical or blphabeitcal-reversical? "Road" "Samba" z>a "In" "The" "Rain"
  17. your entry can only cross the Z->A border ONCE Next entry should have start with a word between "road" and a "z" word, then flip around. e.g. Samba In The Rain
  18. other players hate what they are earning and/or the attention they get
  19. That's it!! so next song starting after "road" alphabetically (you can flip around back to the beginning of the alphabet)
