Well some people try to pick up girls
And get called assholes
This never happened to Pablo Picasso
He could walk down your street
And girls could not resist his stare and
So Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole
Well the girls would turn the color
Of the avacado when he would drive
Down their street in his El Dorado
He could walk down your street
And girls could not resist his stare
Pablo Picasso never got called an asshole
Not like you
Alright
Well he was only 5'3"
But girls could not resist his stare
Pablo Picasso never got called an asshole
Not in New York
Oh well be not schmuck, be not obnoxious,
Be not bellbottom bummer or asshole
Remember the story of Pablo Picasso
He could walk down your street
And girls could not resist his stare
Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole
Alright this is it
Some people try to pick up girls
And they get called an asshole
This never happened to Pablo Picasso
He could walk down your street
And girls could not resist his stare and so
Pablo Picasso was never called...

Gee, I'd really like to go to that, but I think it conflicts with my seeing the entire Mariah Carey summer tour. Why are the fates so cruel?

I remember last year there were rumours that Yes was going to co-headline a tour with The Dead. It's a good thing for The Dead that this tour didn't happen. Yes would have blown The Dead off the stage each and every night.
That's not saying much though, is it?(Oooooh.... I'm gonna hear about this!)

Chilton was in a teen band called the Box Tops. I don't know much about them, but this web site may be of some assistance:

That sounds incredible!
I hate you.

I currently live in Hamilton, where I also spent the first 25 years of my life. After that, I lived in London (Ontario) for three years, and then in Seoul, Korea for a year. Back in the Hammer since Xmas, but currently working in Kitchener.

Years ago, my heart was set to live, oh
But I've been trying hard against unbelievable odds
It gets so hard at times like now to hold on
My guns they're waiting to be stuck by
At my side is God
And there ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
Ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
There's people around who tell you that they know
The places where they send you, and it's easy to go
They'll zip you up and dress you down
Stand you in a row
But you know you don't have to
You can just say no
And there ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
Ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
Ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
Ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
I've been built up and trusted
Broke down and busted
But they'll get theirs and we'll get ours
Just if we can
Just, ah, hold on
Hold on
Hold on
Hold on
Years ago my heart was set to live, oh
But I've been trying hard against strong odds
It gets so hard at times like now to hold on
Well, I'll fall if I don't fight
And at my side is God
Ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
Ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
Ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
Ain't no one gonna turn me 'round
Hold on
Hold on
Hold on
Hold on
Years ago I was all set to go
And I've been trying hard against long odds
It gets so hard at times like this to even hang around
I can either stand or fall
And I believe I'm gonna stand tall

Santana - not the original line-up, but the mid-70s line-up featured both Tom Coster (organ) and Richard Kermode (electric piano).

You're not as late as me, Basher!
Happy Birthday, Hux!! Hope you had a good one.

Hey Mr. M. -
Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
I work in KW, and the station that we have on in the office (105.3 KOOL-FM) mentioned Matt's passing late last week, and gave a link to your website. Then they played one of his tunes... it was kind of funny, as one of the women in the office said, "Did someone change the station? This song is kind of weird..." Personally, I thought it was a wonderful change from hearing the same 20 songs every day...

In for the Casbah, most likely. See you all there! ::

Happy belated, Craig!! (oooopsy-daisy!)

1989, CNE: The Cure, with Love & Rockets and The Pixies
Great show!

I second that emotion!

Be vewy, vewy, qwiet...

Yes, yes, me in.
To PJC: take the Main Street East Exit form the 403. Turn left on James Street (8 or 9 lights down). Turn right on King William Street. PJC is on the corner of the next block (King William & Hughson).
(Edit: Man, am I ever slow!)

KevO, i'll hook you up with my copy at the Sharon Jones show....
god knows i dont listen to it often...no point of it just sitting around here...
That statement is coming dangerously close to earning you a boot to the nutsack, Stevie!!
-
Happy Birthday, dude!!
Hope you're feeling better soon.
-
Who, me? No, I haven't. I once saw an audio copy in HMV when I was pretty baked, though. Does that count?
-
Seven Below... perhaps my favourite of the Round Room songs!! Always nice to see that one make an appearance.
(One free kick to the balls for the next fucker who says that Round Room was a poor album. C'mon... you know you want a good boot to the jewels!)

Does anybody really know what time it is....
...and does anybody really care?
Thanks, QQC - now you've got it stuck in my head, too! Sharing the misery, eh?
