    and i totally forgot that i saw them at bluesfest. i found that show to be a bit underwhelming. not sure why. i recall it being quite short as well. seeing them in a small venue was a totally different experience. (although i did have a great time seeing them at the molson amphitheatre in around '97.)

    I lost my voice and my mind at that Bluesfest show! I also saw them in '96 at the Amphitheatre, it was a couple days after the Allman Brothers were there, is that the show you mean?

    The Royal Scam is definitely a desert island disc for me, if I hadn't gone to Phish this fall I would be going to Massey for a couple shows.

    There was a great quote from Gretzky where he was trying to compare hockey in Edmonton to other sports and fans around the world...he compared it to having the Olympics on, where you drop what you are doing and follow it completely for 2 weeks....he said that's what the Oilers are like in Edmonton, all year long.

    I LOVE THE NFL!!!

    Agreed, another unbelievable, unpredictable, fantastic day yesterday.

    SO my folks have insisted that they fly us down to spend Xmas with them in Florida this year... I just realized that the Dolphins are at home on Dec. 27th. We fly back on the 29th so we can only go to one Phish concert (which my wife insisted we do, I was gonna pass) but here is how my holidays are shaping up:

    Sunday= Phins

    Monday= Phish

    Miami'd
