  1. Might as well keep it going....it wasn't disc 2 of the box set, but someone stole a case of mine with about a dozen discs a few years ago. Aside from my pink floyd collection (which I have replaced) and the Beatles red and blue double albums (which I have pretty well replaced), I lost a Zeppelin bootleg that I haven't seen again. I know it was a show just after their first album was released, and the cool thing about it was that Robert sort of teased some lemon lyrics in a jam of How Many More Times (presumably before The Lemon Song was written). Anyway, I miss that one....

  2. The nerve, bouche, saying how crazy this topic has become and then making us read that whole damn smurf thing.... you should be smurfed upside the head! Roger Waters was always one of my favorite lyricists (back in my, "whoa man, they wrote that song for us man, fer when yer on weed!" phase)....

"You radiate cold shards of broken glass..."

    R. Waters

  3. starwars.com is the official site, theforce.net is a fan site full of every tiny bit of info or rumour that the hungriest fans collect.... sort of like phish.com vs. phishsanctuary wink.gif" border="0 . As for the clone/father thing, that's outta my territory.

    Dig it,

  4. Hey gentlemonkey, glad you saw that clip.... yeah, James has a guitar synth, so he'll loop a rhythym guitar part and then play a piano or organ or horn solo....my hair was strictly sun bleached (I was really sunburnt and hungover that day!) I would never put foreign substances into my hair, lungs and stomach only wink.gif" border="0 .

  5. Oh yeah, sorry, my band is called DownTime, we just moved to Toronto from the Maritimes and we ARE playing at the Comfort Zone this Wednesday (despite next to no promotion from the bar). Lots of funky jamming, our guitar player James is a very experienced jazz player with a whole bunch of electronic gadgets....we do about half originals, half phunky covers (that are always stretched out). We leave next week for a 10 day Maritime tour-do you want those dates, Bouche, or do you stick to Ontario dates? I can send them along or they are on Jambase(we really need to get our web site up!!). Thanks for the interest, really hope to meet some people tomorrow night!!

P.S. We have a 4 song disc that we are going to sell off the stage....

  6. Salutations, since moving to Toronto, being unemployed and on the internet alot, I have quickly become addicted to checking this page. I figured I should try to become a participating member of the community by posting the odd message.... I wish I would have met some of you cats who were out at the Comfort Zone after Oysterhead, but I was a little bit bleary to be going up & talking to strangers wink.gif" border="0 . Soon enough, I am sure. Anyway, a current top 5 :

Phish 12/11/99, Disc 2 (the first set rocks too but that 2nd "kick out the funk" set kicks my ass every time.

    John Scofield, Bump

Led Zeppelin 3 (nostalgic, I know)

The Beatles, Abbey Road ( a headphones extravaganza)

Weather Report, 8:30 (Jaco is THE man. Period.)

    Keep truckin', I'm there....
