  1. Wow. Just wow. People really enjoy being bent over and taken advantage of' date=' don't they?[/quote'] I'd pay it. I guess that means I enjoy receiving anal sex.
  2. Geez! My Canadian song (which is actually from my birthday, because that was the day they released the list in 1971) is actually even worse than the others on my birthday: Donny Osmond - Go Away Little Girl (Okay, I admit I've never heard it, but it's a pretty good guess that it sucks ass!)
  3. #278 - Most Unbelievable Song Ever 1. Ricky Martin - She Bangs 2. EMF- Unbelievable 3. Talk Talk - I Don't Believe In You 4. Dayglo Abortions - Argh Fuck Kill 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12.
  4. I once saw him do Greendale in a little theatre in Vancouver. I think I paid over a hundred bucks, and considered it an honour and a privilege. Basher's right. It's just supply and demand, and I actually think Neil's giving us a pretty good deal.
  5. 277 In Honour of Davey Boy Songs by or about Daves 1. Foo Fighters - Everlong (Dave Grohl) 2. Dave Matthews - Bartender 3. Bob Dylan - Blackjack Davey 4. Bruce McCulloch (Kids in the Hall) - These Are the Daves I Know 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12.
  6. I'm not afraid of Neil dying or packing it in any time soon. The fact that I can still see guys as old as BB King play gives me pretty good optimism that Neil isn't on his way out. Now, Ween on the other hand could self-destruct any time, but that's more of a self-induced problem than anything else...
  7. Find out here. For me: UK: I'm Still Waiting - Diana Ross US: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart - Bee Gees. Aus: Daddy Cool - Drummond () September 4, 1971 (I really expected the songs to be much cooler from that year, actually.)

    Whos bombed

Drunk driver? "Questionable?" Not cool, guys; at all.
  9. I also agree with DJ Melba. I kind of look at it as funk-light. Funk for the masses, if you will. If they got a little edgier, or a little jammier, or both, I think you and I would dig it more, but they would lose most of their audience. Basically, I will never love them, but I always enjoy seeing them, and just consider them a good intro band to funky tunes; very accessible, but still good. (A bit gimmicky though; for sure, but I actually kind of like that, too, in this case.)

  15. I was just told a brilliant anecdote (which may or may not be true). Lewis Carroll and a friend were walking along one day, and a beggar said to Carroll, "Can you spare a shilling?" Carroll said, "Sure" and handed him one. As Carroll and his friend walked off, his friend said, "You know, he's just going to spend that on alcohol." Carroll's reply, "What's the difference? If I kept it I was just going to spend it on alcohol myself."

  18. I never heard that second one, but Marilyn specifically came out in public to ensure that everyone knows he's not the kid from Mr. Belvedere. (I think it's hilarious that that rumour got started, though. It's just so geeky.) Good one!
  19. Perfect. That means I can close this file and render to you my final bill. You will receive it shortly.
