i was at the doctor's this week (cold) and read the newest time magazine. i'm astounded at how much it reads like a PR brochure for the US government's foreign policy. i mean really, how much more toadying can they be? is time edited by waylon smithers?
"that was a gutsy move, sir."

what OS are you using?

okaay, this is nuts.
wolfowitz is a nasty man.
that comb thing in f-911 was just disgusting.
i guess it could have been worse, they could have nominated satan to head the world bank. i hear he was asked, but said he'd rather continue his work behind the scenes on the board of directors of the IMF.
fack me, what a day. arctic oil and mr brylcreem in charge of the world bank.
*sigh*....
-
geez...geomouse sent something around months ago to the effect that the warming climate had made more of the arctic national wildlife refuge accessible to oil exploration.
the irony of that statement seems to be lost on our american neighbours...

Awesome Brad! I love it when karma really works in the world (and doesn't just remain a concept to hope for).
indeed. gives hope to the rest of us.

"i know i shouldn't eat thee....if i shouldn't, give me absolutely no sign.
thy will be done.
mmmmm...sacrelicious."
-
...or getting assembly drawings finished it's very nice to know there's a place that i can go and hear from like-minded freaks.

Both the site and the festival lineup are looking great. Nicely done. I'm pretty sure you can count us in for this one. I will be nice to chill out with some mice again.
you say the nicest things looking forward to seeing you and bouche and, well, all of these fine folks in real life!
wooo hooo!! only 2 months to go!
and big cheers for the marks for being behind this!
-
three cheers for canadians brave enough to stand up to the US....thank you for posting this, stonemtn, their website seems to be a pretty good read so far.
-
okay, deb, i never knew you had a soft spot for paul simon! if you can get your dr evil to learn some of his stuff, harvard mouse will genetically modify it!
-
not much longer until Come Together, we can start a movement now to get an All-Paul set from mark:)

I figure as long as I don't commit to doing anything whatsoever of consequence, I should be alright.
Thanks, Basher, for the Keeler link. Finally, the putting into verse of the abomination of the dreaded Deer Creek '95 show (timouse, pay heed!). Great tune ("skanky-ass bastards!")! I'll have to work out and bring it to the next jam (good lyrical play at the end, eh?).
...buncha party bashin' buzz thrashin' gate crashin' stanky-ass bastids!
bwahahahaha! thank you basher and dr evil for pointing this tune out to me. i don't know much keller williams but what i've heard i like. he does a ripping bird song, and the best acoustic cover of zappa's dancin' fool that i can think of
-
btw - what did ya'll think of "the end of suburbia"?
cool! when did that end? that explains why commuter traffic was light this morning
-
happy birthday mr lesh.
may you continue to fill out the bottom end for years to come. just back away from the mic....(~)

Graceland, Rhythm of the Saints, anything by Simon really (even the duo stuff with Art Garfunkel) is phenomenal. He is one of my favorite artists of all time, bar none. The song writing is superb, musicianship likewise, and the guys he has playing on his records are world class (Steve Gadd on drums - c'mon! is there really a better choice?) ::
steve gadd is a god.
-
heheheheee...where you go? oh how i miss being asked that forty or so times a day....
-
all right freak!
although if you check out bradm's monday thread, you may find work adversely affects your happiness level
hope the new job works out well, and have a great trip!
-
i think my monday so far tends more toward bradm's and less toward scottieking's...
i just talked to niffermouse and she is having a bradmonday for sure....perhaps all of the people on holidays have a put extra demand on the cosmic happiness grid. at least i'm feeling less bad knowing that others are sharing this. misery does love company
here's to a better tuesday!

after reading the article i saw a vote button..."was this information useful?"
of course i chose no, at which point a box popped up to tell me that they appreciated my feedback but were experiencing technical difficulties and unable to log my response.
idiots! protecting intellectual property rights of course ranks above actual information about safety and stalking...
-
i hope everyone has a blast, and congrats josh on the family expansion!
-
happy birthday james. one of the more under-rated musicians of your era...
-
umm....doc, unless you have lead sheets, they won't do you much good...
happy happy happy thoughts
-
indeed. heaven's hogging all the ringer musicians lately
-
