  1. Well, I guess in that case, I better pick an avatar before too long, eh?

not necessarily, you could just wear an olive colored t-shirt with your screen neame on it :)

As for the Chatham thing, in case anyone doesn't know. Whenever I cross the border and mention that I'm visiting frinds in Chatham, I get stopped, searched, etc... When I have come up there for CTMF (We're going camping up by [town name]) and (a NYE get together in Port Stanley) we zip right on through. So it seems that the ONLY time I get stopped is when I mention chatham or friends from chatham... GOOD WORK GUYS! Way to have a reputation...

See you all soon, but not soon enough...

that's terrible. customs hassling is the worst. door number 4 scares me the most.

good luck getting across the border, i promise not to breathe a word about this to the authorities....maybe the authorities are reading this now! wait...did you hear that click?

  2. I just gotta remember not to say I'm going to Chatham when I get to the border...

whay are you worried? we haven't even called Customs to warn them about you.

*grinning* it will be nice to see you again. in fact it will be nice to be able to connect people with their on-line selves!

we should all have t-shirts made with our avatars on them.

  3. Let's be entirely clear about a couple of things here. First of all, I was there so I know what went down. "We" didn't do anything. "We" stood around like a bunch of morons until your genius wife calmly removed a picture from a wall, then the screw that it was hanging on, then used a dime to screw it into the cork. What a fantastic woman. You're just lucky that you married her before I could. One more thing: We didn't have pliers, we used a bent coat hanger to wrap around the head of the screw and then pulled like crazy. Damn, that was a great bottle of wine.

    :D

when society melts down, i would like to be on the same team as mr and mrs paan...that's bloody brilliant! paan, you're married to mcgyver! and willy, you'll be needed to keep everyone honest :) great story...

  4. [color:"purple"]okay, maybe you guys should be drinking screw-top wine. even better, Box of Wine (With Free Pool Toy!)

this talk of smashing bottles and then drinking their contents makes me nervous. i can see this all ending badly.

and jaimoe, you know dave waddell? this is a seriously small world...

  5. Can't see Winnie the Pooh packing a 5000 psi punch (or whatever). But maybe that's Winnie's little secret (and maybe why Piglet always seems a little insecure, and Tigger never just eats him. Ok, sorry, that's twisted).

we represent the estate of Walt Disney and demand a halt to this unauthorized use of copyrighted intellectual property :)

and as far as the 100 acre wood food chain goes, i'm amazed piglet has lasted as long as he has.

    he looks tender and yummy.

unless you're a vegetarian. in which case eyore is almost a vegetable :)

:::::: you know, I love you both!!!!!!!!!!

Tim, what's been keeping those Simpsons' references in check?

I been expecting a lot more outta you, mister! I can't wait to spend another evening with you and Jen and Ili and all y'all freaks! It's been way too long!

25 more sleeps till the Lanc!

  7. deb asked me to pass these along, keri, you might have a better list.

fine hotels in the chatham area:

    Comfort Inn

    519-352-5500

    1100 Richmond Street,

    Chatham, ON

(most of the mice are staying here)

$89 and up for 2 double beds

    Travelodge Chatham

    519-436-1200

    555 Bloomfield Road,

    Chatham, ON

(stayed there last time, nice enough place)

also $89 and up for 2 double beds

Keri mentioned the Traveller's Inn in an e-mail last time, but i can't find their number. A quick Canada 411 search turned up a bunch of motels in town too, but i can't speak to their quality.

Any Chathamites want to chime in?

  8. Damn..I always love those posters Chuck.

lookin' forward to seeing you guys again, chuck!!
