Marge: Can we get rid of this Ayatollah T-shirt? Khomeini died years ago
Homer: But, Marge! It works on any Ayatollah; Ayatollah Nakhbadeh, Ayatollah Zahedi...even as we speak, Ayatollah Razmada and his cadre of fanatics are consolidating their power

Ofcourse livingstoned i wasn't trying to patronize you...Just happened to take mamapink's reply a little too seriously. i'll use the quote box next time.

why is everyone acting like the sky is falling? we're in CANADA. When i was your age we got 100cm in Halifax in 1 day.
on a plus side - the roads were nice and clear today - the hysteria is keeping people at home and outa my way on the ol' delivery route.

Call it what you want...classical, brit pop, prog rock, fancy pants, beatles rip-off...everyone of those is applicable to this song:
1967 Moody Blues

edit: oh yea, it starts off with some of the best 1950's bus riding music ever.

I really wish someone would upload (and/or if Oink would allow video exceptions) the band 5 disc History box set. The music is all there but the bonus DVD Is not. I've been meaning to watch it for ever! Does anyone have the means to make copies?
-
video from oink??? Thats unpossible!
I can't remember exactly but I think if you use winISO you can extract the bin.

From the pictures the stickers only seem to be on the back center panel..this can be removed completly.

The Leslie, (model 22H), has posters stuck on it, not original posters and not put on by Brent. The last owner put these on.
boo-urns to this though- what kind of an idiot...?!?
this isn't a huge issue to rectify.
Sound-wise, this leslie only has 2 settings, Off or Fast. (hence the model# 22 and not 122) - The "choral" or slow speed added a great deal of depth to the sound manipulation.
I almost won Jon Lord's leslie on ebay a year ago...It came with a road case stenciled with his name - the cab was white and had some serious modifications hinting at it being a touring rig. I was all ready to throw in a last minute bid (which would have won it) but ebay had automatically signed me out! I was so hyped up about it that i couldn't log in and bid in time. Very dissapointing!

She grabs a pair of scissors and begins hacking at her own hair – the one true moment in the video

SHUT UP ANGELA!

I vaguely recal this setlist:
Peace Like a River - Elvis Costello - (i'm pretty sure about this cause I don't remember seeing the other dude)
Still Crazy After all These Years - Jim Cuddy
50 Ways To Leave Your Lover - Jamie Cullum
Take Me to the Mardi Gras - Zachary Richard
Cecilia - Colin James
Mrs. Robinson - Holly Cole
Mother and Child Reunion - Bedouin Soundclash
The Sound of Silence - Daniel Lanois (this was also not so hot)
America - Michel Rivard
You Can Call Me Al - Sam Roberts
-
That was a good hour of TV! If you can believe it there were NO commercials.
From what i remember - the guy who sang '50 ways to leave your lover' was terrible.
The girl who sang Mrs. Robinson absolutly BUTCHERED the tune. what a horrible voice.
Sam Roberts stole the show by a mile...wearing an appropriate African american style poncho, singing Call me Al. My only beef with that song is there was no bass solo.
Aaaanyway. I thought this show was gonna be a documentary!
