  1. ill prolly be there around 1030 1045 so i can catch wtts
  2. nice, see ya there aberg...come say hi to me!! im the guy with the fro playing with glowsticks
  3. yea...but they were surprises all I am saying is that sure the typical teams will always be there (Yanks, Boston, Braves (except for last year), Cards, etc there are always one or teams that surprise and make a good run...
  4. The lineup looks weak? Maybe I am too huge a Mule and moe. fan but those two band alone would make me travel all the way there. Plus, add in Ratdog (always a fun time), Umphrey's (ditto), DTB, Dumpstaphunk, Moses Mayes (who is great, Canadian band), the EO (which always is a good jam), Trampled by Turtles (awsome bluegrass), Little Feat (classic)...the lineup is friggen sweet. Okay so maybe I could think of a better band to headline instead of Trey...but still.
  5. its only about 5 or 6 hours more than Bonnaroo...well worth the drive dude, especially with this lineup
  6. hence why I put it the "small" in quotes...they aren't small, but comparitively speaking they are and at the begining of the year, not one of those teams were predicted to win it all...
  7. holy shit! what an initial lineup! id go just for those guys...trust me, 10KLF is worth the drive!! wowzers...too bad I'll be on the other side of the world..
  8. I wish I had that hard drive space...right now I am going through select JGB shows and burning them to CD and then deleting as I go along...I really need an enormous hard drive...like 2 million gigs would be perfect
  9. Yea the Royals will definately not win this year, however, lets say the pull a Tigers and each and every one of their young players develops and has a career year in the same season, say 2 years down the road. Maybe Meche earns that money and becomes an ace (he is "young") and the Royals also have Luke Hudson and Zach Grienke...they could easily pull a Bonderman/Verlander/Maroth type season...or maybe not...yea...definately not. haha never mind silly Meche
  10. The great thing about baseball, is despite all the spending and all the percieved "major" vs. "minor" market teams, there is so much parity that any team can win the World Series in any year. Case in point the fact that for the past 6 years (or 7?) there has been a different team win the championship and many of them have been teams with "small" payrolls: Marlins, Angels, D-Backs, White Sox etc...
  11. goood for them! I saw these guys at 10KLF and they put on an awsome show...Fareed Haque is killer
  12. oh wow AD that DownloadthemAll thing is amazing!! wow its goin so fast as well...thanks for the hookup!
  13. hey cullmaster good work my man!!
  14. Reports I've read said Meche and his wife did not want to live in a big city. still, I cant believe he signed with the Royals...they have lots of good young talent but they wont be good for a few years at least...hey kinda like the Tigers a few years back eh? hmmmm
  15. Yea Gil Meche just signed for the same contract as AJ Burnett. bwahahahahahaha I mean AJ was overpriced but at least the guy can be amazing when he's healthy...Meche is Lilly with more upside...the Royals??? jeebus and Ya Hal, thats what the Jays are thinking. It makes more sense to keep him unless they are offered a top flight pitcher, a everyday OF, and a prospect for him. Although there are a few teams that can do that. The Angels for one...could you imagine taking Ervin Santana or John Lackey off their hands PLUS Howie Kendrick or Chone Figgins?? I sure as hell could...
  16. sweet, Frankenrieter really sounded good that nite...gotta love SIMPLE MAN!! although he played the exact same show in rochester the next night...
  17. Hey AD how do I do that? thanks Alabama Man this is gonna be perfect exam studying tunes!!
  18. haha yea this is priceless
  19. Actually I read somewhere (or heard it on PTI?) that Schilling has told Boston fans not too boo Drew...
  20. Apparently according to www.bluejays.com JP is hoping to sign Meche and then let Towers be in that fifth spot. I think Towers deserves a second chance...although hopefully it won't take as long as it did last year to figure out whether he can play or not.
  21. Booche your right...but I think if your team is spending money on a winner, the fans will show up. It's a catch 22, the only way to put fans in the seat is give us a winner, and the only way to give us a winner is to put fans in the seat to make money to pay the players. Sooner or later, one of those things has to happen first. And it's easier for the owners to take a hit in their bank accounts in the short term in order to provide a winner for the fans to show up. Also, I am not that convinced that any of my few hundred dollars I spend on the Jays each season actually goes to the players...
  22. Lilly Spurns Jays This is good news as far as I am concerned. Let the Yankees or Cubs waste money on him...
