  2. yea I agree, that first set looks absolutely stellar!!! Not too mention the wicked choice of covers in the second set...could you imagine, I wonder what the people at this show were thinking when they heard the first notes of Helter Skelter to open the set..

  8. hey StnMtn, I doubt it'll start on-time (I mean, how often do shows start on time)...and I also doubt there is an opener... man I am jealous. I just found out that I am gonna be in Toronto after all for a friends birthday, but my pleadings with them to change the party to the Kool Haus were futile... bah I wanted to hear FHG...

    yayyyyyy God

Dude that is quite the big over generalization. For SOME people yes, they do feel that they are less responsible for their actions because they feel they are carrying out God's master plan. HOWEVER, for many, religion makes people think they are MORE culpable for their actions. That is where karma and all that comes from. Or "do unto others as you want them to do unto you" Some people are use religion in evil ways, some people don't. Just because some people do, doesn't make religion as a whole bad. Religion gives hope to the hopeless, etc. I am not trying to convert you or anything, but you have this jaded view of it when there are always two sides to every piece of paper.
  10. dont step on the grass would be sweet id love to hear endless parade and child of the earth, my favourites from the new disc
  11. oooh I hope they play it! they've been busting it out lately.. my friend (gkord) and I are making signs, one saying "monkey" and the other saying "hill" boy would I love to hear that song....we are either gonna do it at the toronto show or the rochester show...maybe both

Deeps, I think you are over simplifying it. It's more people interepting the religion for their own good, rather than the religion itself being bad.
  14. what do you call a fish with no eyes? fssssshhhhhhhh
  15. Mark, have you ever caught MMW play with a guitarist? I've seen em play with a few various guys and its friggen awsome when they got one in the mix...
  16. Yea the new album is good, but I think aside from the first track it's not as good as A Go Go. Although it's different so that may not be a fair comparison. Regardless, I recommend it to everyone and I can't wait to catch MMW and Sco live...one day.
  17. i got my ticket sold, my friends need one more so if youd like to unload yours let me know..
  18. reminds me of that commercial, which I believe was for Tim Hortons and its got the guy at the end saying about his zamboni "It's good on ice!" remember that?
