  5. To each their own I guess. Personally, its not my thing. Thats the complete opposite of what kind of music I enjoy.
  6. It must have been seriously cut and really cheap. Wow, its brutal. I'm really confused why I was told over & over again I would like his music. Newrider, since your the person who said that to me the most, perhaps you could explain.

  12. Hmmm, I was always on the understanding it was Mi’kmaq and meant Givers of Life.
  13. From my understanding of what I've read on online & on various audio tech/help sites, is that its not so much the sound quality, but what appears to be a type of compatibility issue with some CD/DVD players, perhaps older ones, I dunno. Personally, I've had no problems, but I use a DVD player for CDs, as it seems to sound & play better. Maybe I just haven't come across one of those CDs yet also. There are loads of reports of constant skipping, clicks, diginoise etc with brand new discs. Also, people have claimed that normal CDs won't play correctly after playing or trying to play a CC-CD, in some cases causing permanent damage to the equipment, be it CD, DVD or computer drives. Something about corrupt audio formats or disc information. Not sure how accurate that is though. No real help towards your question I guess, but thats some of what I know anyway.

  16. Sure, no problem Ollie. As I always say, anyone wants anything I have they are welcome to it, all they have to do is ask. Thats what its all about isn't it? I also give away a shitload of CDs & DVDs pretty much every few months (not always just here). Sharing is fun.
  17. So thats your reason for thinking that rule is "retarded" ? Alright, easy enough, don't download DVDs then, do trades, ask for a B&P or get a larger HDD if burning is a hassel. In my opinion, its best to keep the shows complete and the quality of the shows intact instead of trying to accomadate those who don't have big enough HDDs or keep adequate room for such downloads. But really, is 10GB really that much burning? Its like an hour or so of your time, less if you don't sit & watch it burn.
  18. There you go, more then one source. Now any confusion if the other sources show up is already avoided. Thanks Brad.
  19. No, its a great rule, the show is complete, it should be shared/seeded as such. Easier for all involved in my opinion. I hate when you have to search for the rest of the show, especially if there are different sources circulating, because more times then not the original seeder doesn't seed part two promptly and you get someone else putting two sources together and seeding the two different sources as one, usually of varying quality, in turn not circulating the correct (or best) combinations. I realize in this case there is only one source, but making exceptions for one you have to do the same for the others. Which more times then not leads to problems. (See dime-a-dozen)
