  1. The Gourds Matt Cook Film DVD [NTSC] Matt was a hardcore Gourds fan, film student, and sometime musician. He put together an amateur film about the Gourds in '97 or so. It has some interview segments with the band members, live clips of the Gourds from Austin venues like the Electric Lounge, shots of the band recording Snoop Dogg's "Gin 'n Juice" in the studio, band members goofing off, smoking cigarettes, etc. It's a decided non-commercial film but a fun watch for the Gourds fan. Extras (added by Esau aka: Alabama Man) 1. Gourds video for 'El Paso' 2. Video footage of Snoop Dog listening to (and enjoying) the Gourds take on 'Gin & Juice'

    Planet Earth

Was it 1/3 of the entire Earth's surface' date=' or just 1/3 of the land area of the Earth, that's desert? (IIRC, 70% of the Earth is covered with ocean, so that doesn't even leave 1/3 of its surface for land, let alone desert + arable land.)[/quote'] From that episodes description:

    Planet Earth

Just type Planet Earth in the search box that appears, and all 5 episodes are available, loads of seeds/leeches too. www.bt-chat.com/?mode=simplesearch
  4. I believe this could be more the result of a "torrent spy" then Rogers spying on what exactly your doing. I can't remember exactly what the term/program is called, but its somthing along those lines. Basically, you'll find these on movie torrents, the more recent the movie the more likely. It gathers info disguised as a leech on other leeches (just IP I assume) which then get brought to the attention of the ISP and then they spy on what your doing. I'll try to find the article I read about this, although it was around the time when all those US folks got busted over the Star Wars movie hitting the web hours before it opened at theaters so it may be hard to dig up.

  13. There are java script based programs websites can add to their site that will target the ads based on site content. I don't know what bouche uses, but a compnay called Alexa offers this stuff. Google has a similar program called Adsense.
  14. I've never really been a fan of Bruce Springsteen to be honest, but after picking up The Seeger Sessions I'd have to go with that for CD of the year. Fantastic album.
  15. Gordon Lightfoot Much More Music Studios Toronto, ON 1999-07-07 Lightfoot's first live TV concert style appearance since Soundstage in 1979! upgrade news

Hmm, I cleared my cookies and logged back in to find the layout squished to one side, before that it was toggled. I dunno, seemed to be with me up until today, any chance on having that option?

    upgrade news

Maybe I'm missing it here, but I can't find the option to toggle the sidebar. I checked in "Display Settings" also. Is that option still available? Cheers
  23. Try unplugging your cd rom and see if it detects your hdd, then unplug your hdd and see if it detects your cd rom. Or try a different IDE cable. I've had to do this with an older computer of mine before, some sorta conflict, not sure how it happened but that fixed it. No idea on the "chirpping".
