  1. Have an awesome weekend at Grateful Fest!
  2. Apparently that was the largest crowd the Truckers ever played to, including Bonnaroo.
  3. BUSTED! Okay, there's several other reasons I don't want to go that I won't get into on here! lol! yes, they still give out OSAP. no, you don't have to pay it back when you live in mexico!
  4. The first day will be spent waiting in line to sign for my OSAP. Not looking forward to it.
  5. Very doubtful I'll be there. I'm going back to school Tuesday and don't think I should fuck myself up for it!
  6. I think one day is always $40 at the gate
  7. you mean purchased the album? I've actually purchased it twice because I lost it once. I've downloaded it as well though.
  8. Lucinda Williams will release a new album, Little Honey, on Oct. 14 on Lost Highway Records. The album features a duet with Elvis Costello ("Jailhouse Tears") as well as a song Williams wrote in 1985 ("Circles and X's"). Other guest vocalists include Matthew Sweet, Susanna Hoffs, Jim Lauderdale, Tim Easton and Charlie Louvin. Eric Leljestrand produced the album that features Doug Pettibone on guitar, David Sutton on bass, Chet Lyster on guitar, Butch Norton on drums and Rob Burger on keyboards.]
  9. FUCK! They do such a great version of that tune.
  10. Sorry I couldn't help it! cute doggie!
  11. I saw them last year and NO WAY would I pay over $30 to see them again. It just wasn't all that great of a show.
  12. Who's got my heady credit card numbers?!?! I hope I don't have to pay scalper prices for this.
  13. I think the Phoenix is bigger than the Operahouse. Drive-By Truckers only filled half the Phoenix the last time they played there. Yeah, I think it's gonna sell out.
  14. A message from Patterson Hood regarding the tour. "Then the biggest news of the fall, possibly the whole year for us as we go out for nearly a month co-headlining a national tour with our new friends THE HOLD STEADY. This tour came about after I met lead guitarist Tad Kubler last summer and we began emailing each other. I had just been turned on to their music by their producer and our good friend John Agnello (he mixed TDS and Blessing / Curse for us). If by chance you haven't listened to them, they are absolutely fantastic. A great band with great songs and an excellent stage show. To say we're psyched would be an understatement. Just so everyone knows the whole thing has been put together without any business bullshit or ego crap. Both bands are co-headlining every night. Who plays last depends on who is the bigger band in each market, and as both bands are at almost same level all over it was really smooth. Both bands will play long sets and hopefully there will be a grand finale to cap off the evening with something extra truly special."
