There's a lot of raw footage from the Prankster's bus TRIPS out there (days and days upon days of it), so I wouldn't think it would be hard to draw ideas/scenes out of that.. The only thing that worries me is finding actors/actresses that can really take in the roles and present it the way it should be.. I always have a hard time believing actors' portrayal of a real scene or event especially after reading The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test so many times! But I wish them luck and I really hope it rocks!

Haha! :grin: Anyways, after a lot of research, a friend of ours thinks that this is the first Bobby short shorts sighting (even though they're not as short as I prefer, but they have a heady slit up the side that satisfies).. It's Egypt 1978.. If any of you have any earlier proof of the short shorts, I would love to know!

Oh hell yeah!! I had no idea of Kevin's love for the short shorts! That definitely makes me smile! At a free show DSO played in Yellow Springs this past summer, some friends and I brought some scissors up to the stage and asked a jeans-clad Rob Eaton if he would give us the pleasure of some man-made short shorts and he laughed at us and said no.. Now I know who to go to when in need of the short shorts visual along with the music!! Thanks! That's awesome!

Hey y'all! I'm bored, and nothing would cheer me up more than seeing Bob Weir in full short shorts glory! If any of you have any pictures of ol' Bobby sporting his extremely short and above all AWESOME shorts, I would love to see them! Please help me out! I'll start us out with a few of my favorites.. (Complete with fanny pack!) (..not once, but TWICE!) (take notice of how his socks almost match his shirt..) (maybe the shortest I've seen..) That's awesome! Be prepared to go every year after.. Cause once you experience the Ledges once, you'll be hooked!! This is honestly the best festy I've ever been to in the most amazing place! (plus it's only 5 hours from Toronto, which rocks..) I can't wait until all the bands are announced!

Thanks for the update, starhead! I woulda been super duper upset if Gratefulfest didn't happen this year, it is absolutely the best festival I've ever been to!! Better late than never, I guess! Hopefully you'll be able to make it down! That would be fantastic!! I wonder how many nights they'll play? They played 5 nights last year! (4 plus 1 surprise sound check!) Keepin my fingers crossed for another amazing bonus night!

I am new to New Brunswick, and wanted to see if any of you have any suggestions on anything heady around St. John.. I've only been up there twice, and just wanted to explore around a little. We're living in St. Stephen and it's a little slow-paced around here, and not a lot of Dead heads (that I've met), so I haven't had much info on any of this.. Baj is from here, but hasn't lived here in over 10 years, so we're a little lost on things to do.. Suggestions of bars/restaurants, shops, music-related stuff, natural beauty, etc. would all be welcome! Thanks, all!

That bites about the weekend change.. But definitely interested to see who will be playing for July 4th week.. Looks like Baj and I will be most likely making our way to NLQP for 2 seperate weekends of insanity!! That can't be such a bad thing! At least Schwa might be finally joining us for a Gratefulfest!
