  2. yeah his website has odd dates like that from time to time. I've never figured out why that is.
  3. you are handsome and strong Josh.
  4. on a related note, one thing I heard some time ago was that no store or business can refuse a demonination of Canadian currency without ceding the cost of the product. By which I refer to those signs, that say "no $50 or $100 bills accepted" that you see everywhere these days. The premise here being that if I should go into say, a sub shop, and buy lunch and go to pay with a $50 bill and that place refuses to accept it, then therefore they are refusing to accept Canadian currency as payment (it is up to them to reveal it's authenticity, not the consumer). And following that, the sub is mine to take sans payment. Because, I offered them legal tender Canadian money for it, they refused to accept it, therefore the transaction is complete = I am not *stealing* the sub, I offered payment, they refused to accept it, the sub is mine. And so on. Anyone heard more on this? It does seem to make sense if you think about it.
  5. As much as I kind of get a kick out of his mercurial temperament, it's beyond me why anyone should fear the wrath of an artist they're paying good money to see and support.
  6. I'm not going but I scored a pair for TimmyB - but they're like behind the stage, section 312. That was nerve-wracking!
  7. Wouldn't it be better to just kill people with their baggy pants hanging down?

  9. ok, now that we'd have some clarification, have at 'er folks. But, just make sure the song you pick has been on a previous list and was not your own choice before. Timouse, we can assume your entry has been on here before?
  10. This tune goes back to the Bluenotes era. Here is a link to the page with the song. Make sure you're not doing anything for the next 20 minutes. edit: just saw that Greg had previously posted this link. Rock on.
  11. "We feel okay about VWs. Several of us even drive them."
  12. Wow. Just wow. People really enjoy being bent over and taken advantage of, don't they?

  14. Keep babbling away in that self-important, nonsensical, pseudo-hippie-speak there Mr. Hart. Your pontifications are bloated and often nonsensical. Keep rappin' and best of luck with your kids' trust funds! Maybe they'll follow in their granddad's footsteps.
  15. I keep looking at Booche's avatar, then I read his last zinger, then look back at the photo, then the zinger again........

  19. me thinks the real answer is the current yet classic combo of booze + yayo + pills + repeat for days/months/years at a time = Britney Spears 09/09/07.
  20. ah... Neil got diagnosed with a freakin' brain aneurysm..... then he went and wrote and recorded an album BEFORE going in for treatment. He's unstoppable. I'm not going to let these shows break my 2007 concert drought but that's largely b/c I know tix will be next to impossible to get. Good luck to all though. I imagine TimmyB is floating in the air right now.
  21. I thought it was a most entertaining trainwreck and I do not feel sorry for her. With $700,000 coming in per month she hardly needs to work. Having fired everyone around her and estranged herself from her family, she set herself up for failure. Apparently MTV demanded that she behave herself while in Vegas to ensure a winning opening segment. Brit Brit chose to party into the wee hours every night she was there. She showed up to rehearsals hours late with a frozen margarita in her hand. Ding dang, y'all! Hell, remember Nigel Tufnel, when he discovered backstage that the caterers provided pieces of bread that did not fit the deli meat? And that one olive had a pimento and the other didn't? He said "I'm a professional, I shall rise above it" and then he rocked the fuck out of Toledo, or wherever. And while I don't think by any normal standard Britney looked in bad shape, by Hollywood standards she was a mess. Her entire demeanour was definitely disconcerting. One interesting biz-related fall-out regarding this has to do with California mega-reps The Firm, and Brian is correct to point out that ultimately it is your hired reps that must take some blame in the end. From foxnews.com: Ding dang, y'all!
