  1. So, I am in the twilight of my youth Not that I'm going to remember Have you seen the moon tonight, is it full? Still burning it's embers The people dancing in the corner They seem happy, but I am sad I am still dancing in the coma of the drinks I just had Does anybody wanna take me home? Does anybody wanna take me home? Take me to your house and I'll leave you alone Of course I will, of course I won't It seems so tragic, but it disappears like magic Like magic Like magic Can you recommend an education or drugs Because I'm bored with you already I'm on Broadway and I think it's a parade I'm covered in pieces of confetti And I am in the twilight of my youth Not that I'm going to remember Dancing and slowly and finding the truth And it covered in coma All these people in my life, they seem so in love Well, I am not Memorizing my shoes in a cigarette shop Does anybody wanna take me home? Does anybody wanna take me home? I'm kinda lonely, will you take me home? Of course you will, of course you won't Of course I'm crass, it seems so tragic Of course you will, of course you won't But I'll disappear, I'll disappear Just like magic Just like magic

  4. sorry, I didn't mean to be flippant or curt. He is an excellent artist.
  5. yes Ryan Adams is very good.
  6. I flip back and forth as to whether this or Arrested Development is the best comedy show ever. I think for sheer imagination and don't-miss-a-thing intensity, AD wins out. But damn I loves me some CYE too. Not an episode goes by where people don't start screaming at each other and I wouldn't have it any other way. Did Bravo (or whatever it was) stop airing it up here? I haven't seen new episodes in quite a while.
  7. who are the others in this photo?

  13. sugarmegs.org me, I'm currently listening to 06/09/07 Richard Thompson Band, Chattaqua Auditorium, Boulder, CO goddamn he is so good
  14. I'm not necessarily disagreeing here, but the events of last December suggest that dissolving Phish didn't really take care of his problems. I sincerely hope Trey is doing well in the Summer of 2007 and I think it's a good sign we have barely heard a peep from or about him lately. Jerry should be seen as both an inspiration and a cautionary tale.
  15. They drove me crazy 20 years ago and nothing has changed. I think GnR's music was total nonsense.
  16. he was unique, the way he'd have a talk show with no studio audience and just yuk it up with someone positioned behind the cameraman. RIP Tom.
  17. Hapy Birthday brother!
  18. and were the Dixie Chicks really named after the Little Feat song?!?
  19. still, The Rolling Stones were not named after a Dylan song that was released four years after their formation.
  20. I've seen U2 five times and they most certainly deserve to be on the list. I've never seen a Toronto audience as enthusiastic as their crowd at the ACC a while back, and that says a lot since ACC crowds tend to be like knitting circles.
  21. see I wanted to pick that but I thought the tune was "Mannish Boy".
