  1. right on Karin, very happy he pulled through... a tough road for him but least he's still on the road

    continued good wishes

somewhat thankful we don't have more liberal gun laws up here... yelling out "the police are on their way, I'm about to let the dog in." is often better than firing lethal shots in the dark

  2. If you like to gamble, I tell you I'm your man

You win some, lose some, it's all the same to me

The pleasure is to play, it makes no difference what you say

I don't share your greed, the only card I need is

    The Ace Of Spades

    The Ace Of Spades

Playing for the high one, dancing with the devil,

Going with the flow, it's all a game to me,

Seven or Eleven, snake eyes watching you,

Double up or quit, double stake or split,

    The Ace Of Spades

    The Ace Of Spades

You know I'm born to lose, and gambling's for fools,

But that's the way I like it baby,

I don't wanna live for ever,

    And don't forget the joker!

Pushing up the ante, I know you've got to see me,

Read 'em and weep, the dead man's hand again,

I see it in your eyes, take one look and die,

The only thing you see, you know it's gonna be,

    The Ace Of Spades

    The Ace Of Spades

  3. when I was there last you could order beer from some bars after hours at drive throughs, just like fast food... Neil Young's bar/cafe The Blue Note is worth popping by, ordered a quarter of kind off my waiter when I was there (not positive thats always possible but the locals I were with tipped me off on it)... buying a car in Manitoba is recommended by many, no salt (so little rust) and good prices... music gear was cheap when I was there too... I really liked the used book stores I visited there, lots of bizarre 50's pulp fiction magazines I'd never heard of (or heard of since)

there are a lot of mall walkways and indoor corridors that come in handy anytime after winter sets in (they truly don't call it Winter-peg for nothing, walking at 20 kms/hour down a sidewalk is called the Winnipeg Shuffle)

and of course, get good and loaded... when in Rome... ;)

  4. Wassabi got labeled a sex cult some time back but I always knew deep down that the title really belonged to those Diesel Dogs... one look at the band and you know they all must live in dens filled with robes and lotions

if Ricky's drinkin the whiskey in Dover I'll definitely do what I can to come out to witness a few miracles

  5. using Wordpad or Notebook or any basic text editor is actually the best way to get the hang of designing sites... Dreamweaver can do a lot for you but its important to know what its doing for you or you can end up totally lost when something goes amiss

recommend you take a stab at css design... good to know your html basics but cascading style sheets are preferable... little tricky to figure out but a lot better once ya get the hang of it

meta tags for the HEAD section of your pages are fairly important for search engine recognition, quick and easy to learn... nother strong point about using css is the code makes your pages easier to be read by the search engines

WC3 is a great reference... some other good ones:

    Sitepoint

    A List Apart

looks like you're off to a pretty good start... have fun!
