  1. True.

    Both were world-class strikers.

    fixed that for you.

    Aren't you clever?

I am aware that time passes, and in no way do I still consider Andriy to be a world class striker.

As for Nando, we still have only 2 losses (with him available) since he joined the club. He may not have scored, but other clubs still have to prepare for him, and mark him.

IMO, best striker ever? Peter Osgood. Would you make a funny alteration to that, or do you have anything better to do than act like Booche-lite?

  2. Jesus H. F@ck!

Ramires managed to take a poor 1st leg performance and make it worse. Man United is pretty good, perhaps going down to 10 men isn't a very good idea?

What a r@tard. I wish he was dead.

I also have no faith in Ancelotti anymore, because after Wigan we should have seen some more Torres/benayoun action, and clearly there was no hope of that.

    Jesus H. Fuck!

And, well played United, you guys were great. Congrats Andre.

  3. True enough, DB.

However, we saw, hopefully, a good sign of things to come this weekend. When he came in as a sub, and joined Yossi Benayoun, DAMN!!! They were looking sharp together. Now that Yossi's healthy, maybe Nando'll pop in a couple.

More importantly, I could really use a quality City-thrashing by Liverpool today. Think yer boys are up for it?

  4. Worst sending off in the Whitecaps MLS game tonight. Buddy on a yellow takes off his shirt after scoring a penalty.

    Self'd.

Yup. Hassli looks like a good player, but what kind of an idiot does that, already on a yellow?

Maybe he thought since the shortsleeve jersey was underneath he was still officially wearing his jersey?

    Odd.

  5. Well, the better team won. Chelsea was terrible, and Ramires just looked aweful.

The ref looked awfully Howard Webb-esque on that card to Torres though. Sure looked like the Utd defender was standing on his right foot, but regardless, Chelsea deserved nothing out of that game, and had better bring their A game next Tuesday.

Oh well, at least the pints were tasty.

  6. Fergie Olver had one of my favorite quotes ever.

Can't remember the player, but loved it when Fergie said that player "slides into 3rd on a stand-up double." baffling stuff.

I Hate Mike Toth. Dude thinks he's hysterical. Blurs the line between murder and justifiable homicide.
