when ya coming home? i wanna try and make it for your welcome home party. we've had a lot of good times over the years, but, ya know, i don't ever think i've celebrated your birthday with ya before. so, i promise next year i'll throw back some beers with ya in person, but for now we'll have to settle for the trans-continental cheers! prosst, bruder!!!

i'll be in cali for ten days. oh, and about the "christmas" party, unfortunately my mom planned a family function for that saturday so i won't be able to make it(boooo!). one of these days i'll get her to work around my summer concert schedule! so it looks like i won't make it back till labor day, but i'll try to make it before i go to california.

solargarlic- yeah the coastal highway is cool, one of the best drives ever, absolutely beautiful. i'd like to head down to big sur and do some camping, but i'm not sure if i'll be able to fit it in.

you should come del! the tix weren't that expensive, you just gotta look for bargains on the different discount travel websites. and it helps if you can be flexible with the dates, too.

i'm definately gonna check out haight ashbury (duh), but alcatraz, i don't want to see the inside of a prison unless i'm forced to be there. even then i think i'd jump bail and head to canada!

i'm so excited that i have to tell everyone! james and i are going to northern cali in august to visit his friend in san fran and simone and marie in chico, too!

anyone know of any really cool things i should check out while i'm in that area? I'd really like to live there someday, too, so if anyone knows of any heady, affordable spots, i'd like to hear about them too!

i've heard so much about the Trailer Park Boys i'd love to see some episodes, but i don't think it airs on US TV. Does anyone have a copy of a video or dvd i could get ahold of? Perhaps we could trade for a show or something?
