Hard to boil it down to just a few (as usual) ...
Ron Carter
Tony Levin
John Entwistle
John Paul Jones
Jack Cassidy
Chris Squire
John Wetton (for his work with King Crimson, UK and Roxy Music ... his later work I can mostly take or leave alone)
Les Claypool
Bootsy Collins
Larry Graham
Danny Thompson
That's 11, 1 more than I should have allowed myself ... I will stop myself there, otherwise I could never stop

oh theres no denying he's a talented guy, but so are Vai and Satriani and they're boring as fuck too.
True, but whether his playing is "boring" or not really boils down to personal opinion. Saying "Warren Haynes is a limited player" is, I think, something that is objectively false, where as "Warren Haynes is boring" is more subjective. My wife, for example, loves Steve Vai, where as I (apart from his work with Zappa) am not really into him. Then again, what do I know from boring, I'm the only Red House Painters fan on the board ...

I've got a couple of shows of Haynes ripping it up fusion with John Scofield and Jimmy Herring, believe me, the man more than held his own. I've heard him play a wide variety of songs in a wide variety of styles, not just limited to blues rock.

Suffing cats, I didn't even know DCD were back together ... count me in as a big fan.

Suffering cats, how could I possibly forget High Fidelity? "Charlie! You fucking bitch! Let's work this out!"
-
Damn, Roller, I forgot Lock Stock for me too ... and Snatch (One Punch Mickey O'Neill is a God ... "Fuck off , while you've still got the legs to carry you!")

"Damn you, Tommy Tutone!"

Never seen Debbie does myself (happy to say).
Mind you after 2 years of having 13 channels of free porn I guess there's not much else I haven't seen.
13 channels of free porn? What TV package do you have?
There are a hell of a lot of movies for me that fall into this category. Already mentioned are Dazed and Confused, Hedwig & The Angry Inch ("Love the front of me, honey!") , Harold and Maude ... to that I add Still Crazy, Shakespere In Love, Zulu, George Of The Jungle, Gregory's Girl, Magnolia, The Godfather, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hair, Rock My World, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert ("No more fucking Abba1"), Finding Nemo, School Of Rock, 24 Hour Party People ... I could go on (and, in fact, have )

The George Harrison tribute show had a number of great versions, my favorites being Gary Brooker doing Old Brown Shoe, Joe Brown doing Here Comes The Sun and his daughter Sam Brown doing Horse To The Water. Roxy Music's version of Jealous Guy is plenty awesome too. Ditto the Breeders version of Happiness Is A Warm Gun.

I thought Bonham had a lot of finesse, he was just very loud with it Cheers to PEIPunk for mentioning Ian Paice, I can't belive I left him off my list.
-
Jesus frinking Christ, how could I have forgotten Robin Trower? His early stuff with Procol Harum was awesome.
-
Oh yeah, Jan Akkerman is Dutch, but a fine soloist nonetheless.
-
Sorry, asleep at the switch there ... although I still say a case can be made for Hendrix as a British guitarist Well, perhaps it is too modern a slant, but :
John Squire
Bernard Butler
Jonny Greenwood
Kevin Shields
Daniel Ash

Let's not forget Buddy Rich's classic drum battle with Animal on the Muppet show (Buddy lost , but that's ok because a) Animal technically cheated by throwing a kick drum at Buddy's head, and Animal's drum parts were played by Buddy too)
-
Chez 106 used to be such and amazing station, they played all kinds of awesome stuff ... then they went Classic Rock and pretty much 98% of their library was tossed out. Did you know The Who only recorded 2 albums with 3 songs total on them?
-
Believe by Cher. Honourable Mention goes to Hocus Pocus by Focus , whose appearance on a prog rock boxed set in the first (and thus far) only time I heard it led me to literally hurl my headphones from my head with an aghast look on my face.
-
This is even tougher, as my last "Top 5" list for drummers was over 100 musicians, and ultimately I have only seen 1 of them live, but to boil it down to a simple 5 would be (and I am leaving a lot of guys out) :
Bill Bruford
Tony Williams
Danny Carey
Guy Evans
Simon Kirke
Honourable mentions : Butch Trucks, Jaimoe and Mark Quinones for crushing me like a bug at the one time I saw the ABB. Also Ringo Starr, Tim O'Reagan and Malcolm Travis.

I got a frickin' awesome Live Queen DVD dirt cheap at Walmart.
-
Can't afford it , otherwise we'd both be in

Which of the Big 3 I love depends on what day it is, I love them all ... most lately I have been in a heavy Clapton phase, I have a bunch of downloaded DVDs of him and he has been quite Godlike in all of them. While I am sure there are still people on the board who have nightmares of my "Top 5 Guitarists" list, which was about 68 guitarists at last check, even if I exclude the aforementioned Big 3 I can't get my list smaller than 5 Guitarists (in no particular order):
David Gilmour
Steve Rothery
Steve Howe
Warren Haynes
Richard Thompson
I just realize I've seen all of them live, 3 of them before I was 21

Where the crap is Avant Garde Bar? Tago Mago was a frickin' godlike album.
-
It's a pity Rocky turned into a franchise of diminishing returns, because the original is a damned good movie.
-
Oh , jesus, The Notebook made me go to pieces ...
Magnolia
It's A Wonderful Life (the scene in Mr. Gower's drug store)
Hair (the end just ruins me)
Finding Neverland
In America
Whale Rider
AI
Finding Nemo (I admit it ...my wife says I cried during it, I'll take her word for it)
Moulin Rouge
Hedwig & The Angry Inch
Hannah & Her Sisters (the ending makes me cry happy)
Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants
Running On Empty
Hero
Contact
A whole bunch of others I can't think of right now ...
RnB

I don't know if this counts, but my great-uncle had a mountain range in the Antarctic named after him.
