I go through phases of not listening to any music, however I love this album:
Rocket From The Tombs - The Day The Earth Met Rocket From The Tombs ( seminal 70's proto-punk band )
Cool, I downloaded and burned a DVD of RFTT playing a gig in Montreal in 2003 ... still intense stuff.

Her name is in fact Bee ... I never quite cottoned onto the fact that she was someone I knew in University until another classmate mentioned it to me, at which point I exclaimed "Wait a minute, you mean Samantha Bee is *Sam* Bee?" I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, sometimes ...

Paul Simon - Mother And Child Reunion

I went to University with Samantha Bee, we were in the theatre department together.

I don't know why, but I loved Bubbles' name for Terry and Dennis ... "The Flappy Bird Brothers"

"To Corey and Trevor ... they've never let us down!"
Funny because Corey and Trevor have never done anything *but* let them down ...

Frozen Ghost's lead singer was also the keyboard player in an old Canadian band called Sherrif, whose song "When I'm With You" somehow became a huge hit in the states when Frozen Ghost were together and Sherrif had long since split. IMSMR, he later was the producer for Our Lady Peace or something.

Are there any fans of 16 Horsepower out there? I saw them by accident back in 1997 ... my then gf Jane and I were going to see King Cobb Steelie at the amphiteatre of the National Art Gallery (AKA The See-ment Pond) but arrived early and ended up catching the set closer plus encore of the band that played before them, 16 Horsepower. We immediately kicked ourselves that we didn't catch their whole set ... haunting, snarling swamp gospel blues what-have-you, delivered with fire and intensity. I was saddened to hear they split up last year. Anywho, here is a very cool show from the end of their career ... their cover of Joy Division's Heart And Soul is demonic.
Cheers,

It's 21" and about 5 years old and I really can't afford a new one at this point.

It doesn't seem to have that option. Just plug and play, energy star compliant and reset display.

Happy birthday , Brad, hope it is one of the great ones.

On Friday, June 17th , I will be going up to Montreal to see a show at a place called The Tulip/La Tulipe ... does anybody know in what part of town that is? Does anybody know of any decent hotels/motels nearby where I'd be able to stay the night? Any help would be awesome.
