One explanation I've heard for holding the event in Toronto is that the number of delegates from all the countries totaled something like 15,000 people. This was from Evan Solomon reporting on CBC.
Ordered the smokehouse sampler (chicken, ribs and pulled pork) from the Billy's Bones stall last evening. It was decent if not memorable. The charm is starting to wear off this event for me.
A) I find USA very intriguing on the World Cup stage. I feel like every one of their successes is a middle finger in the face to the likes of Blatter and Platini.
