  1. just got back (early unfortunately) from seeing Nero. Also saw them in Canmore. Ya'll out east should be jealous.

Great to see you guys again and look forward to the next time! Enjoy the rest of the tour.....

  2. oh my....OH my! What in the hell IS THAT? A lizard? a human? oh wait, its Jacko.

In all seriousness. That is truly sad when a person must do such things to feel good about one's self..DAMN!

  3. I agree with ya Jaimoe, I think that the new album is gonna be the best yet!! It just seemed to come out naturally (based on what we're told anyhow) rather than "oh shit, we GOTTA get a new album on the shelves!!" I also think that the albums have been consistently stronger over the years.

I preordered the new one and I can't wait to hear that puppy!

  4. Well, I think that 2003 will be an excellent year for phishing. Lots of new material will be great and the energy will be unmatched to be sure.

Is it possible the best years are behind them?? I for one believe that the best years for the Dead were in the early 70's (72 was GREAT). I also think that the best year to see Phish was '97. In both cases i think each band was reaching a frenzy, both musically and within the community of extended family/fans.

Although the Holiday shows will be great, I think the summer tour will really be the meat of it all. Even though it would be fun to be at NYE, I for one am not that dissapointed that I won't be there. The summer will be where its at....musically speaking anyhow.

of course, when its all said and done, i have no FREAKING idea whats going to happen!!! and thats the basis for what this whole crazy trip is all about!!

  5. YUP! im in the process of redoing my list and making it stored locally rather than on db.etree.org. I love what they have done but I feel at this point, ive invested too much time, money and enjoyment for the list to be lost! Im doing it a little bit at a time and figure when its all done it will have taken me a month or two [Eek!] IVe already found a bunch of new shows i forgot i even had AND have realized that i also have a MAJOR addiction [big Grin]

    It is VERY theraputic though.

For anyone that cares, a killer application to clean up Microsoft generated html (Excel, Word, etc) is TIDY html. making my reorganization WAY better!!

  6. Well, as far as something im embarrassed about, i don't really have one ?? as far as i see it, if you don't like my music, TOO BAD!!

Anyhow, something that scared the crap out of me was the Bucket of Bernie Brains show from Bonnarroo...CRAZY!! the first time i heard the show i had to take a good long break between discs..my heart couldn't handle it.

  7. I recently aquired the new Pork Tornado cd as well as the new Slip Cd. Actually, I found them right around the time they were being released. Ive found a bunch of great Dead albums, seen Govt mule discs, and many other titles.

There seems to be no shortage of Chumbawumba's "Tub Thumpin" in the used bins [big Grin]

  8. currently grabbing a Matrix source of this same show...if that tickles ya the right way and would rather have that instead of the SBD, lemme know!!
