...they got booked at the Harb in Owen Sound. Trust me, that's an experience they will never forget.
ok, what? has this already happened? Poor, poor JSB. Wait till they see how many cowboy hats and fights there will be when they can't cover nitty gritty dirt band....
-
mr. scottie king turned me on to them - good stuff, Check out the album, has some really catchy tunes on it and one crazy slow tune that sounds like a lost Abbey Road 'B' Side or something...
Disco Infiltrator gets you up and going!
-
...and really can this comparison even be made? Aerosmith had some classics but were second rate at best...
-
actually there's more meaning than that - Shania is married to Mutt Lange, the producer of 'Back in Black' and other AC/DC classics...
-
Any inkling when the Fat Cats show from that night might surface?
still working on it, month or so all decisions will be made....
-
k wait a second I might have figured it out...I found another updated page that listed what you said and made corrections. Possible for you to d/l it again?
-
cool - i'm really not feeling like joining another msg board etc, mind throwing a link there for it? or maybe Deeps could...

hehehe yeah that was a messy eve AD. I remember ice cream and ice wine sundaes back at the Bouchetables. And the band members rotating through instruments like crazy. and Porn. and my brain rotating through whirlpools when I closed my eyes.
I think it was a 2 show weekend, damn cannot remember the other show....

heheh yeah I remember one of my buddies in highschool pushing Husker Du on me, and I found 'Land Speed Record' used on cassette...wow what a terrible sounding thing! I didn't mind there stuff but when Sugar came out and the Bob Mould solo albums I revisited a couple other HD albums, there's some killer stuff in there.
-
wow yeah killer show...one of my top shows to attend. I remember being flabbergasted at the Ween as I was into both but never considered a cover, I thought they were still pretty friggin obscure.
I remember being about 6 people from the stage on the floor, handing out stickers(I had pockets full) for most of setbreak. fun fun fun!
-
yeah this whole album is out of control - it's already hit huge in Europe and is making waves here - he's opening for Beck and on the coachella bill.
A cool vid for another track:

Hey AD:
It's on Warp Records, which seems odd for this type of music but he toured with Herbert and Manitoba and was always more glitch than funk. It's a fuggin' good album, no American idol/Jamiroquai crap... There's some cool remixes of Multiply out there too-
-
yeah friend of mine 'chilled out' in a puddle of puke on a couch last time I was there....

Husker Du! man Bouche you shoulda listened to less Paula Abdul in the 80's.
Husker Du, firehose, minutemen, Camper Van Beethoven...the good tunes from the 80's!

whoa weird the wikipedia entry says that it's their take on a Bob Mould track. Neat-o!

All couriers charge brokerage. With UPS they let you know when the package arrives. Fedex has a separate arm to handle brokerage, you will get a bill in the mail a week later.
Gateaux has it - USPS Air mail is the way to go. Also because it is a federal service if you get screwed somehow you can level a mail fraud charge against the seller(make sure you have his address)

I remember seeing Blind Melon play at Lulu's in Kitchener, maybe 94? anyways, somewhere around here I still have the touque. Tea Party opened...good show! Lotsa high school memories with that disc...
-
behringer makes a great pair of powered speakers - MS-16's, small but good sound, comes with the cable you need to plug into your ipod....
-
wow guigs, sounds like a spin-off of 'sleepless in seattle'...
-
I've seen all of season 1 and 2 and bitch about it's demise regularly....truly unique and interesting show, dirty 30's with tons of crazy characters. Brother Justin!
ps...season 2 is all over the net, I found super high quality rips almost a year ago...
-
hilarious. I was talking about that diesel-spewing military-grade hottub last night...
-
All excellent bands, my confusion lies in keeping my CD's in alphabetical order, or putting them under 'Z' for Zellers soundtracks.

Just outside of Owen Sound there is a truck...on a post. a 50 ft. post. And yes you can honk the horn and flash the headlights from inside the house....
