    Inhabitat notes that “the meatpacking industry causes 18 percent of our greenhouse gas emissions, mostly due to the release of methane from animals.†Livestock also consume huge amounts of resources and space in efforts to feed ourselves as well as the controversy over cruelty to animals. Ikeda’s recycled poop burger would reduce waste and emissions, not to mention obliterating Dante’s circle for gluttons.

    The scientists hope to price it the same as actual meat, but at the moment the excrement steaks are ten to twenty times the price they should be thanks to the cost of research. Professor Ikeda understands the psychological barriers that need to be surmounted knowing that your food is made from human feces. They hope that once the research is complete, people will be able to overlook that ugly detail in favor of perks like environmental responsibility, cost and the fact that the meat will have fewer calories.

    Now the part about Dante might be read in exactly the opposite fashion here. We might instead be creating the conditions whereby his nightmares become our only choice. I can see a time when it will be inexcusable to eat anything other than waste, as taking from other forms of life unnecessarily will be equated with violence against all of life itself. We make jokes about cities looking like cancer from space, and we tell our enemies to eat shit, and we do everything in our power to make them both happen to ourselves.

    Sorry to respond so late, but I could suggest a few things depending on your preferences. There's Vietnamese at York and Talbot, Spaghetti Eddie's, Black Trumpet is fancy and awesome, or Garlic's, which are both on Richmond in the bar row area.

    Great win for Dallas, and I'll be happy to hear the compliments for the next ten years about Dirk being dope. :D And good on Kidd, Terry and Marion for finally getting their ringy-dingies.

    And the arrogant fucks got what was coming, although I feel strange. I still will and always did admire Wade's game, but in this one it was as if he felt "No biggie, I got back-up." He was driving to the basket, but thinking about the option of the dump off too often. LeBron seemed to be saying to himself, yet again, "Just stay out of Wade's way and it will all work out." And the worst part for me is that Bosh played his 'role' perfectly, he did what his team asked him to do to a T, and is the only one who understands that if he were to have mutinied and taken over the game {and he could have with the foul trouble Dallas had} that the Heat could have had a shot at winning. The worst part being that now I sympathize with the prick, and I feel that it might take a year or two, but Bosh, if not Wade and LeBron, will win a championship. His reaction was like watching old film of Garnett going out in the first or second round and simply falling apart emotionally afterward out of frustration and exhaustion. I've never been much of a jar-jar-bosh fan, but I think I understand now that he felt he had no 'choice' but to leave Toronto if he wanted to win. It was LeBron who tainted the whole team, and maybe it was his conscience that kept him from doing what he should have when the chips were down?
