man, walmart wanted our company in their stores awhile ago (so i am told). but then they wanted us to manufacture in friggin china or something and sell it to them super cheap, pay the people in china to make it a piddly amount and then have us be exclusive to them! i think not!

then there is the fact that they build a walmart in/around the mayan ruins. the people protested like crazy but they still put one up, stating that the reason being is that the next closest one was an "awfully far" 9 miles away or something. they are bastards and i can not with good conscience shop there EVER

Don might be grubby, but he is a nice man with lots of wonderful stories...he has definitely lived an interesting life!

thanks everyone for the well wishes and congrats!! it is definitely an exciting time but also a little stressful n'est pas? I keep thinking of so much crazy stuff to do around the house and what not and well, then of course there is the wedding to plan too! exciting indeed! at least i am past the 'heart attack' stage. I guess we will keep you all updated!

well, if you can't afford to buy organic...GROW YOUR OWN! really..its not that hard, and there is nothing like something fresh out of the garden..mmmmmmmm...and in the winter, if you have a little extra money, you could set yourself up hydroponically for it too! gots to stop relying on the big box grocery store.

holy moly! this is the news i have been waiting for. I am a HUGE muppet fan. If I could have all the episodes I would be very happy! I'd love to have them all for when I have my own little munchkins...but really, i love watching them myself. Christian television used to play the old episodes for awhile but not anymore.

I am definitely picking up Season 1...hope they keep them coming. I have a bunch of clips on the comp but it would be nice to have the dvds

I gave up on The Casbah some time ago. Between the ridiculous bar prices, snooty bar staff, the terrible terrible sound and just sheer lameness of the place, it just ruins the experience of going to see the good bands that are booked there. I have skipped on a number of good acts there and will continue to do so. It's just not a good venue for live music and life is too short to continue to be frustrated, so fuck it.

I am in total agreement here! They overcharge for beer (pint or otherwise) so if you just give them $5 it is a measly tip and you feel bad, the sound really isn't that good (don't know if it is the sound guy or just the shear acoustics of the place)...and lately, they will pack the bar, charge you more then advertised and then have the back part closed!!! what the hell? why can't they open that extra bit of seating?

that guy is ragin! he reminds of people that mix certain things with steroids and the littlest thing throws them off the handle.

Somehow, although granted i don't know, but i think that even if she told him that littering isn't cool and he should pick it up, i think he still would of spazzed.
