bouche
You have passed the final challenge. You are now a LOCAL... officially!
CharlieDon'tSurf
I thought that an official local had to dine on the catch o' the day? Nasty image, I know, but its all in jest... By the way, how did you get Mr. Beaver into the pickup? Did ya lift 'em, with bare hands and all? If so, how much did the sucka weigh, cuz' those critters are pretty damn hefty! CharlieDon'tSurf
maybe if I could read I wouldn't ask so many questions that have already been answered... damn beavers always get me too excited to think properly
h
we/they herded him into a metal dog cage he went surprisingly willingly - they have tunnel vision, so doug was very worried that it was going to be hard to herd. they can snap your leg if they get you with their tails.it was BIG like 40 lbs maybe more - about 1.5 or more the size of the one on the beaver beer commercial (i just happened to see the commercial last night and thought that)when it was in the cage somebody had to hold the door closed with a 1x2 pushing a lot of weight against when it was pushing on the door cuz he woulda busted right through otherwise.2 guys used metal pipe wrenches to hook under the bars of the cage in order to lift it up to the bed of the truck then doug and another guy stayed nt the back with it to keep the cage shut etc.it wasn't all that far to the swamp and again not too far down the slope, so they carried the cage again with the wrenches flung open the door and luckily the tunnel vision kicked in and beavie went straight for the water and swam away...it was truly a neighbourhood endeavor... it was very weird. it's head was huge. bouche
If shanehouse had a beaver, he'd lose it. Then he'd find out that it was sitting beside him the whole time
CharlieDon'tSurf
Am I the only one looking at this whole 'beaver' issue in the wrong light? I mean, its not like I'm some sicko pervert (o.k. I'm not some sicko, at least), but the humour factor is there...especially when we're talking about losing one's beaver, etc... Man, I'm pathetic... Why am I the only one chuckling...
