OK.

At work (classic-alt rock station) we're trying to come up with the top 95 definitive moments (incidents) in rock and roll history.

I know this has been done before by other stations...but now we gotta come up with our own list.

My co-workers and I are kinda squabbling over the top five or so...I say the number one moment HAS to be Elvis' emergence in the 50's. It only makes sense to be the number one spot because he bridged the gap between white musicians and the great r n b music african americans were producing for years. Elvis made it possible for white kids to get plugged into black music which is the heart and soul of rock n roll.

Others say that doesn't even matter cuz qoute..."That was like 50 years ago dude."

So now i want your input cuz I know you guys know music better than my radio counterparts do...which is kinda sad. I am right? Or should something else be there?

Just for the record here's my top three...

1) Elvis

2) John meets Paul

3) Woodstock

Help pleeeeeeease!!!!!
