Is Toronto going to diversify in the jamband scene or will the CoZone, if and when re-opened regain it's strangehold once again. Thoughts? Atleast we got a place like Pepper Jack's in Hamilton! hehe. I think every renovation in the past has been nothing more than smeering new revolting paint against the walls, and possibly spraying for roaches. Shouldn't take THAT long! I certainly didn't seem too happy about it, and from what hey was saying I wasn't real convinced about it reopening to serve the same function. I think the good thing is... That's a pretty dodgy corner and it's not like they could reopen it as a fancy martini bar or something. However a seedy strip joint would probably fit right into the dodginess around there, after all that's what it was before it became the 'comfort zone'... I'd really like to see it open up a little nicer and still bring in the cool bands, and have flexible rules... Security is not very nice at the Rivoli that's for sure...
