paisley
This sucks if it happens to anybody, but in particular a great guy like Willie P Bennett. ditto that... one of the kindest, gentlest dudes I ever met... pisses you off when you know someone isn't into it for the money at all, and as a result don't really have much and something like this happens will keep my eyes and ears open for the moronic lamers (hope this didn't happen right outside the corktown but can somehow picture that too easily)
jon.
any motherfucker who would steal a persons instrument is destined to burn in the ninth circle of hell for all eternity! I sure hope that they get nabbed or at least the owner gets the lions share of his/hers gear back. no sir, i don't like it....

The_eKuhnunist
Man, our trumpet guy Peter had his trumpet stolen from right under his nose when we played a Saturday night at the Junction at the start of January. He put it down beside the stage (which was close to the door) for our 2nd break and when we came to play our last set, it just wasn't there. Crazy thing is that it was pretty much close friends and family watching us that night... Anyway, We walked a block down to the police station and filed the report right away, and never heard from it since. Luckily enough, Pete did have full insurance on the thing (~$2000)
