kc Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 Kevin Breit has injured his index finger and will NOT be able to perform this Friday at Peppper Jack's. Though it is not a serious injury, it will still need some time to heal. FLATT STREET will still be performing. They are awesome and definatly worth checking out. We will have a new date soon so please bare with us. Sorry folks, sh!t happens.
paisley Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 please bare with us. strip it down people :: ah well, lots going on Friday anyways... be nice to catch that show on a less busy weekend (and Flatt St. is a good act)
hamilton Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 I hate to say this, but... good!! I can't go on Friday - goin' to Coventry - so hopefully the rescheduled show will be on a more convenient night for me. Kevin Breit is an amazing guitar player!
briguy Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 That blows huge chunks. Oh well...i guess the new date will be a better show with everyone back from Phish
\/\/illy Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 That totally sucks. I'm sure it'll be moving to a date when I cannot make it. fu©k! I had Friday all scheduled. On the good side of things, this gives KC more time to get a B3 in there.
Esau Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 Man,thats a drag.I was hoping to maybe catch Kevin Breit if I didn't go to Dover,I figured I'd be able to fully enjoy it with all the sketchy "phans" out of town.... ::
The_eKuhnunist Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 'tis a sad day... I hope some of you still come out to the show... Flattstreet really has its sh!t together and is possibly the most talented Hamilton (jazz?) band around the age of 20. How many 17-19 year olds do you know who played at Montreux (Switz.)? 4 of the 6 Flattstreet members played there last year as part of the Hamilton All Star Jazz Band. Do yourself a favour and discover Flattstreet for yourself on Friday. Their music is highly influenced by Zorn, Metalwood, Medeski Martin & Wood, James Carter, Miles Davis, Erika Badu, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Herbie Hancock, Charlie Hunter, George Clinton and Wayne Shorter.

MarcO Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 No, unfortunatley no Coventry for me. Laurie's sister's wedding is this weekend, Friday actually. We may drop by afterwards though. Christ knows I'll need a drink or ten after! Thanks for the cover info!
