I can say this, I missed Chatham in the house. I was frighteningly looking forward to that. As far as I am concerned, that was the best Ottawa show to date. Easily in my top five of all of them. POG, my theory was shot down again Werent no "compositional" 1st ste tonight. BUT, it has always been this: Once the dancers hit the floor, its all over. Play it to the bone boys................... Sorry about that, everyone, but too many things were pointing to impending personal disaster if I stayed. (Putting down my watch and billfold near the stage and having only my watch put in the lost & found, I've only myself to blame. At least it was just $18 lost. If anyone sees a hemp billfold with blue egyptiany squiggly markings on one side...) That first set was damn near perfect. All my fave tunes, and being able to dance to them just about exactly the way I wanted to means despite the earl return, I got my money's worth and more. Tight, guys, airlessly tight.
