LJFH
Tomorrow night, Tuesday 22nd, is supposed to be a balmy -3 with virtually no wind so I thought it would be a nice night to get together and show our stuff on the Canal. Snoots optional. Anyone interested?

LJFH
well, I was going to stay downtown after work cause it's such a long haul out to farrhaven, so anytime is good for me. Maybe I could bum some supper from someone? Or we could go get something before skating?

SevenSeasJim
The family and I were down on the weekend for the Winterlude and man was that fun skating on the canal. My first time in Ottawa since grade 8 (fu©k that's 20 years ago). If I was ever to live in a city again I would choose Ottawa in a second (so much to do). My brother-in-law lives in Ottawa now so i'll have to make the trip more often.

bradm
You might try Mountain Equipment Co-Op, located in Westboro. Aloha, Brad

Ms.Huxtable
There's a Tommy and Lefavre at the corner of Bank and Flora (I think it's Flora anyway). They're a bit pricey but they'll definitly have what you're looking for. Have fun guys and gals.

rubberdinghy
It's an outdoors type store...It's a cool place they got everything from camping gear to canoes and kayaks to clothes and bikes...It's on Richmond just a little further down from MEC, across from the big Loblaws near our place. Snelly
Thanks everybody. It was great to get out and skate. Haven't done enough of it so far this year. The ice from downtown to 5th Ave was really good. We'll have to do it again sometime.
