briguy
when I'm on this site. For the last several days when I post, refresh, open a thread, etc., my modem goes off line. This is the only web site I'm having difficulties with. Anyone else have a similar problem?
Jay Funk Dawg
I find that when I bring up the www.jambands.ca/sanctuary patge and it says I'm already logged in, but it still won't let me post. I have to clear my cookies and temporary internet files to really log in. strange prob bri
bouche
I can't imagine what would cause that in a website. Is this a dial-up modem, or Highspeed DSL/Cable? As far as the cookies go...I've noticed that on rare occasions.
briguy
Highspeed cable. Just spent the better part of an hour at various websites with no problem and as soon as I came back here it dropped off, and continues to do so as I try to post. I'll call the cable company and see what they say.
Gr8FuL
Try power cycling it,(leaving the modem unplugged, from its power source only, for a minute or 2 and restarting your pc) if this works and you find yourself having to do it often, its an issue with your modem, talk to your provider about getting a new modem.
