paisley
Buffalo, WNED, March 14, 8pm ( [color:"red"] warning: on during their pledge drive so be prepared to take an extended break or 2 ) A soulful cinematic tribute to George Harrison, whose musical vision transcended the ordinary and whose talents contributed to a revolution in the music industry. Under the musical direction of Harrison's longtime friend Eric Clapton, the film captures an emotional gathering of artists, including Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Ringo Starr. Truly a rare moment in music history, this documentary showcases legends not likely to perform together on the same stage again. Dr_Evil_Mouse
This is so good, and not to be missed. I wish at times like these that we had better than bunny ears on our TV. Interesting commentary from lots of interesting folks, too. I like the bit of discussion about George's predilection for diminished chords ("naughty", I think he called them). Ms.Huxtable
This DVD was one of my favorite Christmas gifts of 2004. Sooooooo beautiful.I love you George. Also, the similarities between George and his son Dany are intense. It's very emotional to watch Dany strumming along with everyone.
