Del Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Back when I used to rave a lot there were some amazing dancers who used to "liquid", a crazy style of dancing that was one of the most entertaining things to see at a party. After seeing some people trying to do it recently at some shows I decided to look for some videos of some really good liquiding. I didn't find anything as good as some of the Toronto liquiders I've seen, but have come across a couple of good ones. Here's one of the better ones I've found, keep watching for the second dude, he's pretty good at it. Liquid dancing
Del Posted April 16, 2005 Author Report Posted April 16, 2005 This one's not quite liquiding, but there's some great rave dancing in it... The Melbourne Shuffle
Del Posted April 16, 2005 Author Report Posted April 16, 2005 This one's pretty good too, he does a little too much of "the robot" in the second half of this video, but it's still pretty decent... Liquiding to The Prodigy
Calamity Jane Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 Del -- I can't get your links to open -- I really want to see this video! (help!)the Melbourne one I saw confirms that a new friend I just met musta bin an old raver. Watching him groove to jammy stuff is awesome -- it's like his knees are made of jello! I love it!!!
KarinGarage Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 the guy in the orange shirt is pretty good! maybe we can get babsy and bacon to add liquid dancing to their psychedel-aerobic routine! i'd love to see that!
elemeno Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 ya the guy in the orange shirt can move like a wet noodle.
MamaPink Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Thanks for posting that Del! Those dancers make me miss dancing on acid. Gotta love that EXPO 2000 track by Kraftwerk in the background too. Believe it or not, at the end of the movie "Footloose" when they're at the school dance there is a dude that's an amazing liquid dancer! Totally took me by surprise... i think i watched it over and over!
