bouche
I'm sure they will. I've even heard rumours about other shows in Ontario. Hopefully it all pans out, because they do sound quite fun.

zero
The only thing I can add is that a contract is a contract. Shane was being very above board to go ahead and make payment to them, which I am hoping was no more than the %50 guarantee - any more than that I cannot see them being entitled to. I think Shane has explained the challenges in Ottawa and Montreal and owned up to the fact that promoting the shows at a distance may not have been entirely responsible - hence the payment. That said the Seeker presumably payed their guarantee and hence had a contractual GUARANTEE that the band would show up regardless of the routing of their tour or other related difficulties. The keyboardist mentioned the festival was understanding but what they really have on their hands is a blatant breach of contract and they don't need to be that understanding. I think the whole thing has been well explained by both parties though.
