TonyRage
So there was an announcement that an Aussie band I discovered while down under is making it's way to Canada this October 13th (Yom Kippur - hopefully I can sneak away). They are comparable to Ozomatli but with a bit of a ska/fun goofiness about them.http://www.thecatempire.com/ce_stage_menu.htmlMe and my friend woke up every morning to the 2nd track on the album...Days Like These.Check them out. Lazlo
Is Yom Kippur the one where you guys bite the heads off live fish, bathe in goats milk and sacrifice a virgin to your two headed seamonkey god?
bradm
Is Yom Kippur the one where you guys bite the heads off live fish, bathe in goats milk and sacrifice a virgin to your two headed seamonkey god?No, that celebratory practise is reserved for honouring the day before you were conceived.Aloha,Brad Edited August 12, 2005 by Guest Added quotation of Lazlo's post. SmoothedShredder
Thanks Tony,These guys seem interesting... people really seem to jump around when they're playing. Big band... nice bass lines... it'll take a while to get used to this Australian Hip-Hop... it's not like listening to Anticon in that respect. MoMack
hello helloThey're good when they're playing their own stuff - they embarassed themselves when they joined Cheese for a song at the Roots and Blues Fest in Byron Bay (Xavier Rudd REALLY embarassed himself too)
