Not the best Ween I've seen, but not too shabby for (essentially) the first show back. The new tune is great. Deaner sings it. The first verse goes something like, "I listened to your demo and it sucks, I've read your press kit and it sucks, stop sending me shit, leave me alone," while the last verse goes something like, "stop talking in my face asking me what kind of strings I use and leave me alone."So this morning I ran into Deaner in front of the hotel, he was waiting to go golfing. The first thing I asked him was what strings he used. Ha ha. I didn't know he has duel citizenship (his moms from Manitoba). I asked about Canadian shows and he said he doesn't know why they haven't been up here in a while. I urged him to get on it. He did offer to guest list me for the Albany show, so he's a nice enough fella.Glad I was there, wish I still was. What was I thinking not booking today off work?!?!?
